Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and a huge thank you to the award organizers, and to everyone who took the time to nominate and vote!

Don't forget, you can also send in suggestions to the 2020 Recommended Anthropomorphics List. If there's something furry that you don't think is getting enough exposure, either inside or outside the fandom that's come out this year - let them know! Some of those categories could use some expanding!

The winners seem to have a universal response:

We're No. 2! Though it was very close; just five points from there to fourth. Just goes to show that every vote matters! ...kinda.

That's even more so for Bourbon Jack, which tied for points but lost on first-preference votes. Conversely, it seems likely that Slightly Damned would have won if some of those who put it first hadn't put Beastars second. But then, the award is meant to recognize wide interest. I guess you could say the same for The Rabbit Dies First. But considering FurPlanet also owns Bad Dog Books, I don't suppose they'll mind all that much.

Compared to last year, there were over double the number of ballots, which I suspect was due to it being mentioned in relation to FA at some point - last time, they didn't even make nomination.
