After a two-month hiatus, Flayrah is back to active posting. The hiatus was caused by my lack of motivation and general fandom burnout...to help me out, Frysco will be keeping an eye on the submissions queue to keep the links (and polls) fresh.

Save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote)

Political leaders in Congress and the Bush administration have announced plans to include measures in this years budget that
would allow drilling in the Arctic Refuge. And for what? A few months' supply of oil that would not reach the market for a decade. Meanwhile, the harm to wildlife and to our greatest wildlife refuge would be irreparable. We need to save wild places like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for future generations.

If you are the one who is setting up getting a room. We reccommend
the help of UNIGLOBE Professional Travel in making hotel arrangements.
Call them at 800-653-6524 and reserve your hotel room soon.

Russian family adopts fox cub

Here's an article about a Russian family who adopted a fox cub. Although the article makes the fox and his behaviour sound quite cute, and the tiny pic is certainly pretty, foxes are, of course, not a domesticated animal and generally do not make good pets.
