See you there!

Guinness Book of World Records Run
This year, RainFurrest will be attempting to break a Guinness world record! We are going to attempt to gather the most plushies ever gathered in one place at one time. The existing record is only 5,884, so we only need six plushies per attendee (however, bring as many as you can)! After this, we will be collecting plushies for donation to a local charity. More information will follow as to at-con details, and as always check out our website. Stay Tuned to rainfurrest.org for further updates!

Guest of Honor Update
We have recently picked Beetlecat as our Fursuit Guest of Honor! Beetlecat has been in the furry fandom since 2006, when she debuted her "Springer the Kilpspringer" suit. Since then, she has been building fursuits for herself and others under her "Beetlecat Originals" business name. For more information about her (or any of our other guests), please visit our website.

Charity Announcement
We have also recently picked Love-A-Mutt as our 2011 charity! Our convention has helped many charities in the past and we know our fans will help us continue that tradition this year with Love-A-Mutt!

Hotel Notes
It's true! RainFurrest has sold out its room block at the Hilton! However, fear not! We have opened additional space for folks just across the street at the Clairion.

Artists Wanted!
RainFurrest is looking for talented artists to draw our badge art this year! For more information about how to submit art, please e-mail registration@rainfurrest.com

Staff Wanted!
RainFurrest is looking for talented volunteers and staff members! We have positions open for all levels of commitment and experience. If you are interested in volunteering for this year, please e-mail hr@rainfurrest.com

RainFurrest Conbook Submissions
There's still time to submit artwork and stories to the RainFurrest conbook! Every attendee gets a copy, so this is your chance to have your work on display to everyone who comes to RainFurrest! Submissions must be received by Friday, July 15. You can use the contact form on our website to get in touch with the conbook staff, or e-mail conbook@rainfurrest.com for more details!

Arists Alley and Art Show
Artist Alley -It's official! RainFurrest will be having an artist alley for campers this year! While we have not finalized all the details, there are three very important notes about Artist Alley.

  • You MUST have a Washington State Tax Permit to get a table in the Artists Alley. You can obtain info on how to do that on rainfurrest.org/dealersden.php
  • The price for half a table will be $15 a day.
  • To get space for Artist Alley, you MUST MUST show up each day when sign-up opens for Artist Alley to get space. There will be no "get a space for the whole event" sign-up..
  • Art Show - The RainFurrest Art Show is open!
