Nationwide SF/Fantasy author book signings this weekend

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) has announced free author signings throughout the country this weekend in conjunction with the annual Nebula Award Banquet.


Signings have been scheduled in Denver, CO; Washington, DC; Gainesville, FL; Evanston, IL; Greencastle, IN; Ann Arbor, MI; Oklahoma City, OK; Portland, OR; Philadelphia & State College, PA; Río Piedras, PR; Salt Lake City, UT; Alexandria & Fairfax VA; Lake Forest Park, WA; and Racine, WS. Most events will take place on Saturday, April 28th.

This year's Nebula Award's Weekend is April 27-29 in Los Angeles, coinciding with the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. Announced award recipients include: Grand Master: Philip José Farmer, Bradbury Award: Yuri Rasovsky and Harlan Ellison, Author Emeritus: Robert Sheckley. Presenters at this year's ceremony include: Toastmaster: Neil Gaiman, Keynote Speaker: Paul Guay, Grand Master Award presenter: Harlan Ellison, Bradbury Award presenter: Ray Bradbury.
