Tyger Cowboy and St. Louis folk in the news

No votes yet

An anonymous submitter provided a link to this article in the Riverfront Times about furries. It features Tyger Cowboy, a leader of the St. Louis area group UniFursal Zoo, and covers an outing in which he and several other furs went bowling in fursuits. Overall in my opinion, the article is a better representation of furries than some we've seen.

Not bad, not bad at all. It might be seen as leaning a little towards
patronizing, or pitying, but it seemed okay to me.

The only thing I'd quibble with is the references to SF fandom. There
are parallels to be drawn between the two fandoms, true. But Furry
seems to me at least to have more to do with comics fandom than SF.
It's because of all the comics out there and that Furry stories tned
to be more comic style than literature.

Other than that, there've been much worse articles on us!

Not bad... not great but not bad!

Makes me want to blow $500 on a fursuit now and go bowling in it...

Money spent on a fursuit is _never_ "blown"! =;)
