Submit Your Anthrocon 2002 T-Shirt Designs!

Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

What con would be complete without the memorable T-shirt it provides each year? And where do we get our designs for those T-shirts? From YOU, of course! All of you fabulous artists out there, start wracking your brains for a design for the Anthrocon 2002 T-shirt. This year's theme is INVENTION. We will select the best design from among all the entries, and will place that design on our T-shirt. As in years past, the creator of the design we select will be awarded a FREE SUPERSPONSORSHIP to this year's convention!
So what do you have to do?

The first, and most important, part of the contest is the concept sketch. Here, we ask that you create a 'rough sketch' of your T-shirt concept. This sketch should both reflect your artistic skill, as well as the theme of this year's convention: 'Invention.' The T-shirts are printed both front and back. The back illustration should be vertical in format, and no larger than 9" x 14" at its largest. Likewise, the front image should contain the words 'Anthrocon 2002', as well as optional artwork in a horizontal format, and should be no larger than 3" x 5". Anthrocon will do lettering for you, if you are unable, or unwilling to.

All submissions must be received by March 31st for consideration. Entries should be submitted electronically via email to anthrocon@anthrocon.org with the title of 'T-Shirt Submission' and should contain your contact information. This should be your name, your nickname should you chose to go by one, your email address, and your mailing address.

The contest will be judged off of the sketch submissions you provide to us. You may enter as many times as you wish, with as many concepts as you desire. The winning submission will be picked by vote of the Anthrocon Board of Directors. Once the winning submission has been chosen, the winner will be notified of the Board's choice. A decision will be made by April 8th. The winner will have until May 6th to complete the final
images.

Should the winner be unable to meet this deadline, the prize will instead be awarded to the first runner up to complete the required delivery.

As an added bonus, the creator of this coming year's T-shirt will receive their very own copy of the T-shirt, signed by all of our Guests of Honor.

Should the winner already hold a membership at the convention, the winner's membership will be automatically upgraded. Should the winner be unable to attend, the membership may be applied to Anthrocon 2003. The prize is not transferable.

Should you require more information, or have any questions about this contest, please contact us at anthrocon@anthrocon.org.
