Bangladesh has seen a soaring rate of tiger maulings this year, with 22 people killed in the last three months, compared to 24 in the entirety of last year.
Wildlife officials blame poaching, which has halved the tiger population in the last 5 years. They say it's taught the remaining tigers to consider man an enemy

Sad to hear this. The best that can happen is that the athorities start enforcing the anti poaching laws.. The worst is that they mount a campagin to exterminate the tigers.

It really is too bad tigers can't tell the difference between a fisherman and a poacher... I for one would not morn open season on tiger hunters.
