Furry Story Site going away

Your rating: None Average: 5 (3 votes)

Hi all.

Those of you who want to get copies of my stories from my webpage have less than 2 weeks to download them. All the stories including "My Tutor has 6 tails," "Far from Home," and the rest of the webpage will cease to be in a little while.

Why, you ask? The answer is simple and out of my control. The ISP I've used for the past 7 years is closing down. And when it goes bye-bye, my storage space (and account) go with it. They will shut down on August 30 of 2002.
_TPI'll be creating another site in the future once I have
a new account somewhere and spend some time remaking
the pages. I do not know how long it will be. Thus,
if you care to get any personal copies of the furry
stories at http://www.blkbox.com/~osprey/stories.html
you will need to move quickly.

Likewise, if you plan to purchase a copy of "Exchange
Students" online, you'll need to move quickly as well.
Those of you waiting to see the chapters come out one
month at a time; I really don't know what to tell you.
This came as quite a surprise to me and I have next to
no time to react to the situation. The monthly installments
will resume when I have a new page online, though I
honestly have no timeline for that at this moment.

I would like to thank everyone who has given me support,
encouragement, and criticism over the years. I've grown
more skillful because of it. And before anyone makes any
wild accusations, no, I'm not leaving the fandom. Not now,
not ever. Nor am I closing the site for any reason, rather
the site is disappearing beneath my feet. Not much I can
do about that, I fear. When the ISP vanishes so will my
access to the net.

Someday in the near future I plan to build a new site on
a new account. I'm going to take advantage of the downtime
to get some artists engaged in helping me redesign it.
There will be a number of new things when I'm done. I just
have no idea when that will be.

So here it is everyone. Last call! Place your orders and
get your peanuts while you can. Closing time in 2 weeks.

I'm a big fan of your writing too... ah well, you can know that you'll have at least one fur to be reading it again when it's back up and running.

my condolances - this is a thing that happens and rather anoyingly - once upon a time i had a website myself - then my isp got bought up by another that left it up - but then they got swallowed by yet another - which then proceeded to reorganize and basicaly scr****d everybody who had had sites on the origeonal one - argh - someday i'll put up another myself - but right now i don't feel all that motivated - every once in a whily i sort of half heartedly look for someplace to put it - i could go on about how little green pieces of paper are something less then a panacea - oh well huggs and good wishes and hopes for good fortune to you ... ~;)
