From the “How did we let this one slip by us?” file… Probably it’s because the 2025 film The Fox (directed by Dario Russo) is still making its way through the festival circuit, and has yet to find wider distribution. Here’s the description, from an article at Den of Geek: “The Fox follows Nick (Jai Courtney) as he proposes to his girlfriend, Kori (Emily Browning), later finding out she’s having an affair with her boss, Derek (Damon Herriman). While hunting, Nick meets a talking fox (Olivia Colman), who promises to transform his cheating fiancée into the perfect woman; one that is ready for marriage. That same fox manipulates Derek’s wife, Diana (Claudia Doumit), promising to make her cheating husband in love with her once again.” This dark comedy features several talking non-humans, all brought to life through very realistic puppetry. Keep your eyes out, and check out the trailer over at imdb.com — but be warned, there’s a lotta F-bombs in this one!
