My journey was a weird one. At first, I was a bit hesitant, just like the rest of humanity. I wasn't hateful, but I was definitely cautious of the "horrible sex crazed psychos" that the media and frankly half of the internet made furries out to be.

My first influence was a long time friend, who happened to be a furry for quite some time. Although we all were subject to the whole MLP craze of mid-late 2012, he still preferred paws to hooves despite the nagging me his brother and myself. However, since the decline of the pony fandom (honestly, I was bored after mid season 3), his artistic prowess again became a major factor towards at least considering the furs.

Now I'm addicted.
