Hey guys, I have been here for a while and I've come to the conclusion that I would LOOOOVVVVVE to become a furry although I would like some question answered please

Okay I find myself new to all of this and I do like my fair share of anthropomorphic furriness but I lean more towards the half human half animal kind. Foxes are cute, kittens are adorable, but mostly i'm heavily into COWS! They don't have to be lactating but I just think it fits my personality perfectly. I like big curvy half human half cow girls but

• what is the term for the half anthro's (if there is one?) ?
• And is there a community of fellow barnyard cow lovers out there or am I a minority?
• Are halfs considered furries too or is it a totally different community that I don't even know about?

Hi, I am new to this. I have had friends in the past that were furies. So I know a little bit about thw community. I have looking to find conventions in my area as finding people who are into this. I am not looking for a sexual partner! I am not looking to spend a whole load of money making a costume either. As of now I see my self as a red fox, but I might be a morphing furry. I am looking for people to talk to about this and making friends in the community. I don't really like the fan art. I feel like I tend to find the more immature crowd there. Hi! Just starting a story (its gonna be long) the theme is the Assasins Creed universe with a furry twist. Thinking that it should revolve around a group of 4 protagonists, already have the first one. This is where I need input! Like, your fursonas (characters), ideas, opinions ,corrections, honestly anything. Already wrote a good page and a half. So here it is so far:

[WARNING WALL OF TEXT INCOMING]

Mathias wakes up, startled by the chime of Big Ben. He realizes that it was almost time for his introduction into the Creed. As was a trained fighter it had only taken him so long to get into the Order because of the anomaly that happened in the previous year. He remembers that today marks that same day, which had changed him forever. Flashbacks start to unfold in his head: London, England October 21st 1765; he was making his way back to his townhouse in the center of the city, hoping to rest after a long day in Parliament. Suddenly, came a vast and beautiful stream of bright gold light across the sky, after it had passed over him he was seeing strange symbols form right in front of his eyes telling stories that have been lost in many generations. Mathias fell to the ground overcome by the severe knowledge and understanding of what has happened and what is to come, pictures of animals and their clans flying across his vision, seeing his ancestors and many others who share the same fate brought together. In a second of relief, he saw a vague shape of an animal, slowly bringing itself into focus, an Otter, and the Order of the Assassins insignia and then a bright flash of light.

As he remembers he feels his body, another flashback hit him like a wall. Mathias completely remembers what happens to him that night. Before today it had seemed like a dream. After the visions cleared, he tries to stand, but a sharp pain went down his back and all over his body. He looks at his hand, noticing dark brown fur ripping across his arm, causing a painful strain and the sense of itching in the effected region. It comes across his body now, feeling pain everywhere, making his body taller, skinnier and more agile. His hands begin to web; he had a feeling of it making its way down to his legs, making them webbed as well. He now realizes what is happening to him, he is becoming an Otter. In a mass amount of pain he feels at the base of his back, a tail starting to form. What emerges from it is a long thick tail of an Otter. Now the final changes set in, he begins to feel it going up to his face, making it a complete transformation. It starts pushing his face outwards and creating a muzzle with new sharp teeth, he then feels his ears adjust to the top of his head. He can now hear and smell more acutely. Just as he was getting up, a line of white fur appears down his back. He starts to get up; he falls several times because of the new height of his body, his tail, and a changed center of gravity. Once he has done so, he admires himself in pure disbelief. He then looks at his thick tail of his new form; it feels like he has had it forever although it was a new appendage. His whiskers then grow right in front of him and his eyes turn a dark blue, making his transformations complete.

After admiring his new body and regards how it compliments his skill set, he hears in the distance cries of many others, shouting out in pain and excitement for what they have become as well. Citizens begin staring at him with weird looks and other people yelling at him. Some were beginning to become hostile and grabbed anything they could, royal guards began to advance in his direction. With his clothes in ribbons, he thought to himself “What have I become, why has this happened to me?” with his new instincts he quickly made his may to the edge of the river under London Bridge and jumps straight into the water and does what Otters do best, swim.

He had made it far enough away from any sort of guards in a matter of seconds. Mathias thought, “I need to find a church, only there will I be safe”, he made his way to the closest church he could find. He gets out of the water and under the cover of dark; he made his way to the front door of a church. Exhausted because of the sheer panic and adrenline, he collapses in the middle of the main hall right in front of the reverend, who had tried to keep him from falling. He looks Mathias in the eyes and says,

“My son what has befell upon you on this night, what is your name my boy!”

Mathias simply replies, “Father, My name is Mathias and…” and he faints.

Over the past year he has been helped by Reverend Thomas to understand what had happened, he needed to change his name so no one could know who he is, and trained everyday to justify to the Assassins that he is still able to fight in his state as an Otter. From what he could decipher from the visions, is that his family tree has been chosen to take part in a great battle by the ancients and will become one of four heros of light to stand against the dark. His name is now Alpha.

As Alpha comes back from the long stream of flashbacks, he sees Reverend Thomas above him, as he has fallen to the ground from the memories.

“My son, are you ready?” Reverend Thomas inquires

“Yes…. yes I am” replied Alpha

“Then put on the appropriate garments and make your way to their grounds, they will be waiting”, says Thomas

Alpha gets himself off the floor stretching his body, his tail, his paws, then puts on the Assassins robes he was given and makes his way to their meeting grounds, right under the parliament building.

It been a year since the anomaly that brought man and animal together, and people are still learning to accept it. As Alpha walks to the Parliament buildings, he notices… (And this is where you come in! enjoy!)
