Question from a graymuzzle who has noticed a trend over many years: if you have a character/fursona but don't RP that character...then why do you have one? What do you do with them?

Years and years ago, the furry subculture was primarily based on having a character, logging into a MUCK, and RPing that character as a way to express yourself, develop, etc. I notice that a lot of the fandom has shifted their creativity away from text and RP.

Edit: Maybe not full on RP with character backstory, etc, but just having descriptive interaction.

Just like the title says, we need a Spy for our TF2 UGC team, the Furcenaries. Due to unfortunate events our spy had to quit the team and we now need a replacement.

You don't need to have prior competitive experience, just some playtime on tf2 and a microphone!

We will be playing Iron division and matches will be monday nights at 9 pm EST as well as team meetings at the same time on friday.

After lurking a while back I saw a gender tag on a post that was just a capital (c) and through intense research cannot find anything that it is affiliated with. So I ask of you all for. Help to ease my curiosity.

Tl;dr too lazy to search what gender c is.

I feel depressed sometimes. Sometimes of this reason and sometimes of other reasons. I just wish at times that if there were a new student, he/she would be in the fandom or If I meet someone that he/she is in the fandom. Is it bad or weird at all for feeling depressed about this. I did find the fandom alone and sometimes think that I will be alone with no one else in the fandom to chat about it with or anything like that.. I still have friends but still I sometimes feel alone or lonely. (I had a tiny part of my past that I had depressing thoughts) EDIT: Going online to sites like reddit and furaffinity still help fill a tiny gap because Im contributing to the fandom somehow but I just wish to find someone a friend even a partner that is within the fandom...
