Otters have a dark side
It is worth noting that some of the headline grabbing charges, such as hostage taking and necrophilia, were one-off sightings. I loath to label them as anecdotal though these were scientific observations done by biologists studying their behaviour.
Rather, what I am saying to otter lovers is that so far there are just a few points of data. Until more observations are made of the same behaviour, there is hope that some of the dark characteristics are one-off anomalies.
The officers of Refuge Cross having quiet night… I hope they enjoy it, because they don’t get many of those in any of the novels! ;)

Join us for a thought-provoking episode that has nothing whatsoever to do with Earth Day being this week. (Seriously. It’s sheer coincidence. We forgot.)

I don't suppose any of you know who drew these?
Maybe Someday a New Chick Flick?
Sorry, sorry… It’s called The Chicken Squad, a series of light-hearted mystery stories written by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Kevin Cornell. “Meet the Chicken Squad: Dirt, Sugar, Poppy, and Sweetie. These chicks are not your typical barnyard puffs of fluff, and they are not about to spend their days pecking chicken feed and chasing bugs. No sir, they’re too busy solving mysteries and fighting crime.” In The Chicken Squad: The First Misadventure, “… when Squirrel comes barreling into the chicken coop, the chicks know they’re about to get a case. But with his poor knowledge of shapes (‘Big’ is not a shape, Squirrel!) and utter fear of whatever it is that’s out there, the panicky Squirrel is NO HELP. Good thing these chicks are professionals”. Following all this? Check out this new book series from Atheneum Books for Young Readers over at Amazon, in one of several formats.

Why isn't 'My Life With Fel' at the webcomics list?
It really should be, in my opinion. It has furries, and the art is awesome.
Here is the first page, if you want to check out.

Chicken and Weasel
Here is a rather awesome Skittles commercial for Chinese new year. This is apparently a take on the old Chinese proverb “When a weasel visits a chicken during the Chinese New Year, He does it with bad intentions” so in this case it is “When a chicken visits a weasel during Chinese New Year, he does it with good intentions.”
Either way the weasel is awesome.
