Anthrocon 2015
I plan on going to anthrocon next year in 2015. Can't this year for money reasons. But was wondering if there were any pointers and suggestions for me. It will be the first time going and so far looks like by myself since I won't know anyone there or anyone that wants to go with.

New to the community
I've recently realized that I am definitely a furry, and I am really interested in meeting and talking to other furries, either through PMs on reddit or through kik. I don't know what else to really say other than if you'd like to, PM me and maybe we can be friends. :)

What does a furry dragon look like?
I've seen people say that their favorite animal/fursona is a furry dragon. does anyone have any pictures or drawings?

Heading to the Tropics Looking for Work. Plane Ticket and a Backpack. Thought of This.
I drew my fursona rocking with a fish! Made both a hard-colour and a flashy-effect variant.
To date furry, or not to date furry?
So as the title suggests, I was curious about people's opinions about who they date. Can you only date someone if they are a fur, or does it just not matter to you that much?

Texas Furs (Looking for friends)
Just wanted to see if there were any Texas furs looking for friends, maybe finding anyone that hung out with the drunk 'roo at Furry Fiesta and ended up meeting me too!

I'm learning programming and would like to make a bot for this subreddit, Please help me with ideas!
I'm self learning python right now (i already know C and some java) and would like to make a bot for practice. I'm not the best with ideas but could you help me brainstorm something you want in a bot? I'll of course contact mods before i release it into the wild. Thanks!

What to do?(profanity)
I have a problem. and its the fact that im in love with a nice girl, who is in turn in love with me and we are happy together. the problem becomes present when we both are furries and enjoy the fandom and all those sorts of things. she has an awesome mom who doesn't care what she does as long as its within reason and doesn't do drugs or gets pregnant. i like her. however, my mom is kind of a close minded bitch when it comes to new lifestyles and really flipped when i started chewing tobacco. and when she found out that my GF like to wear tails and ears i had to put that side away when i was at home or anywhere i might run into people that know my family. i live in a tiny town of 3000 and everybody almost knows each other. im 19 and am thinking of moving after college. but when i move idk if i should still keep it a secret from my parents or just dump it on them and be all f'k you this is who i am. i already have an idea, just wanting advise. thank everyone. P.S.: sorry for any and all errors, this is my first every post, tips on better posting are welcomed as well but not as much as advise.

Nic.xyz: The Next Generation of the Internet is Here
How’s it going, #GenXYZ?
We’re doing fantastic, by the way. We just made history by launching the first ever .xyz website to ever hit the internet. See for yourself at nic.xyz. The new-and-improved site has the same familiar look you all love, but we’ve added some awesome new design elements to make browsing more fun and interactive. Our highly-anticipated launch dates are now front and center on the homepage, and we’ve made it even easier to learn all about .xyz, read our featured press, and access our most important files.
In case you’re wondering how this is all possible, it’s because ICANN delegated .xyz to us on February 19th. Pretty cool, huh? And this is just the beginning. On March 20th, we will be launching our sunrise phase – an exclusive 60-day period that allows brands to get first dibs on their trademarks. Next comes the landrush. Between May 20th-31st, anyone can participate in priority registration to land the .xyz domain name of their dreams. And then…drumroll please…general availability starts on June 1st! That’s right, everyone all over the world will finally be able to register that short, flexible, and memorable .xyz domain they’ve been eyeing at an uber-competitive price.
When you register a .xyz, you’re getting more than just a domain name – you’re joining Generation XYZ. No matter when you were born, where you live, or what you do on the internet, you are connected with every other #GenXYZer in our global community. We are creating choice, accessibility, and innovation online, and we can’t wait to see all of the amazing new sites that emerge from the next generation of internet users.
We’ve got a ton more exciting news to come, including a bobsled update from our fearless leader, Daniel Negari. Be the first to know by following us on Twitter @XYZ, and don’t forget to tag #GenXYZ on your social media platform of choice.
Was given one week to animate/design the android game "rabbit dash!". Here's a glimpse. [x-post /r/animation]
Anyone ever have this feeling after finishing a book?
So, like 8 or 9 months ago I read Waterways by Kyell Gold, in a PDF sent to me by my first boyfriend, the guy who made me realize I was gay. Now, this book pierced my heart so hard, seeing as Kory lined up with me almost perfectly. Now, upon coming out to my mother, she did not have a problem with me being gay, but I may have let it slip that I was in a long-distance with someone I met online. And she's seen a lot of kids at the shelter she HR's at in horrible situations from meeting people online. Anyway, everything in our relationship seemed to match pace as I read the novel. My mom taking all communication away from us, to our relationship straining. Anyways, we broke up, but this book... this book, it almost haunts me, but beautifully. Every time I see it's cover, my heart races like I'm having a panic attack, but I'm not. It's a mix of soooo many emotions, nostalgia, and literally becoming attached to the characters like they were my friends. And once I finished it the first time, I almost felt like I lost something, like I lost those friends.
It's a really odd feeling, very hard to describe in words, hence my wall of text. I know people say the Out of Position series is his best, but I don't even know how football is played, let alone care about the sport (yes I am American). But I don't know. Has anyone felt this way? I still feel it.
