I'm sad and missing my friends at Confurgence so I made my own furry dance video to make up for it.

King Dedede Rejoins the Brawl!

A new update to the official Super Smash Bros. website has revealed that King Dedede will make a return appearance in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. He has been given his own character page with 10 screenshots featuring him, 9 from Wii U and one from 3DS.
Admittedly I really didn't think Dedede would be one of the returning characters but I suppose he'll be a good alternative for people who like playing as heavier characters but don't like the slow movement of Bowser or Ganondorf [Ganondorf yet to be confirmed]. I do hope though that his sucking move is given a little more usefulness, maybe let him chew or something to do a little damage rather than just hold and throw people.
So are you happy to see King Dedede return to Smash Bros? Who is your favourite so far, or have they yet to be announced? Let us know, join the discussion below!
Do any of you guys ever feel ashamed to be a furry?
THIS IS NOT A HATE POST THIS IS NOT A HATE POST THIS IS NOT A HATE POST
Im a furry and I've been one for 4-5 years now. But it is one of my most deeply harbored secrets. No one in real life knows it, I'm even more comfortable admitting im gay than i am admitting it. It seems all my friends bastardize and hate furries regardless if they're attracted to yiff or not.
What Im asking is that if any of you have ever experienced this feeling before. And if so, what advice might you have for dealing with it? I really like being a furry, but I feel really guilty about it at times too.
EDIT #1: Thank you guys so much for all of the love and support, as well as your own personal stories. Hearing all of this is making me a lot more confident in myself and my furry side, and I love hearing them, keep em coming!
EDIT #2: After giving it some thought and reading all of the supportive responses from everyone, I've decided Im going to stay a furry and be more confident with it! I think i may remake my fursona too! (Its been a while)

We've almost hit 10k subscribers...
Well somewhere between 1 and 10k subscribers. You never know how many people are subbed with alt accounts. Anyway, I have something big planned for when we hit that 10k milestone. It will absolutely knock the socks off you guys. Watch out /r/yiff, we're very slowly (emphasis on slowly) gaining on you.
And we hit 10k.

FC-151 Arrest Proof
What type of fursuiting videos would you like to see?
Aside from dancing, unboxing, and educational stuff.
I've been looking on youtube for fursuit videos and that seems to be all there is. Can you link me to fursuit vids that aren't dancing, educational, or unboxing?
And are there any videos you'd like to see? I was thinking just maybe some really simple videos where it's just a fursuit doing some mundane everyday activity. That'd be interesting to see. What about you?

Friends of /r/furry, how did you "stumble upon/find/etc." the furry fandom?
For me, I have a buddy who is big into it, and he introduced me to it. Pretty boring, I know.

When Fox Lost Her Heart
New in hardcover this month from Toon Books is a full-color graphic story for younger readers called simply Hearts — written and illustrated by Thereza Rowe. “When Penelope the Fox drops her heart into the sea, she’s swept off on a perilous journey, dodging sharks and royal cat-guards until a cartwheeling chicken leads her to the land of lost things.” It’s available at Amazon, or you can visit Thereza’s web site to see more of her modernistic anthro designs.
