Time for our last show before Furry Fiesta! No Kyo this week, as he was afraid of infecting the rest of us with his illness. Istanbul starts the show by ruining everything (per usual), but then we move on to discussing Smokey’s computer problems, and a few related topics like being wary of credit cards and what you should do when you first get a computer. Istanbul gawks at the Superbowl and mentions the power outage (power outrage?) and the Beyonce derp meme that’s begun to spread, and Halfwit goes into how you can tell certain things about people from how they speak, things they might not be intending to say!
Before we get into e-mails, Halfwit talks about some quiet time, but then it’s right into the content you’ve all sent us! There’s an e-mail from Kyo’s vagrundle about the madness of living in Nebraska (all apologies to any listeners who hail from it), the difficult transformation from romance into friendship and how to get over someone who’s just not that into you anymore, and a brief discussion on Twitter and how to handle NSFW feeds; a few options are given, so if you’re also in this situation, choose the one that works for you! We finish with the cast sharing stories of their past pets, and things get a little sadface now and then, so keep those tissues nearby!
Next show is at Furry Fiesta LIVE! No show on Valentine’s Day! Sorry, you’ll just have to do without us in your ear-holes for one week. Now, as for the Furry Fiesta LIVE show, that’s all about addiction! Things you just can’t do without, whether it’s a physical addiction or something more mental, or even emotional! Write in, we want more e-mails to read live…and if you’re going to be attending Furry Fiesta, come to the show and see why we always say this show needs facial expressions!

Free sketches/line-work for gryphons, and/or birds, Also 2 free blacklight icon slots for any species!.
Due to somebody very kindly drawing my character I am passing on the art-love, I grew up drawing gryphon's, I'd like to draw 1-2 gryphon line-work busts (meaning it just inked pictures, no colour) if you choose to have them coloured by somebody else then awesome, please link back to my gallery though!.
For linework, some examples: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6191683/ ( a bust, like I am offering here) http://www.furaffinity.net/full/4356493/ the gryphon is the best part lol.
As for blacklights, I have a touch-screen computer which I draw them with my finger, they are very simple, and I offered icons, of characters cheaply, but nobody wanted them, I think just offering 2 free would be really nice, blacklight examples here:

How can I distinguish furry fandom from yiff for my SO?
As a freshman in college, I was something along the lines of a burgeoning furry. I had passed/was passing through my phase with yiff, and was trying to find where I fell within the fandom. I checked dA almost daily, I had fun watching fursuiters at cons, and had considered suiting myself someday. The idea of fantasy and escapism sounded like fun. Even in costume at places like ren faires, I still felt more or less like myself. The idea of completely masking the human form seems to lend itself to creating a character and a full immersion shift into play acting in a way that is more difficult in partial or humanoid costuming. I had looked up tutorials on creating suits, price checked various commissioned artists, and drooled over gallery upon gallery of furries at play.
Then I met my husband. A genuine and loving man, he is everything I could ask for in a spouse. We have a very open and natural line of communication, which we pride ourselves on. When we were dating, he admitted a very long and painful history he had with yiff. As Christians, we had both felt the similar draw to the argument that yiff didn’t “count” as porn, since the subjects weren’t “real”. He was comforted to know that I had been down the same path, and we fell into a pattern of comfortable silence about the topic. We would give each other knowing looks in public whenever people mentioned the fandom (generally in a negative light), and talk about our mutual past occasionally, but otherwise fell into the comfortable assumption that the “phase” of furrydom was over in our lives.
Fast forward: An acquaintance of mine is putting together a couple of fursuits. She posts pictures of them constantly, and I admire the craftsmanship that is going into them. After rekindling my interest in suiting, I’ve spent the past few days browsing dA. I’ve hidden this surfing from my husband because I’m afraid he will equate anything furry with yiff, and think that I’m slipping into old habits again. How should I bring up the topic to him? Is there an easy way to explain that not all furries are into yiff?
Note: Please no comments on the negative attitude towards yiff. This is a personal and religious preference, and I am doing nothing to change the actions of others.

Furry with Two Vaginas Is Embarrassed to Have Sex
I need a little help; honestly I don't know I should start, so I'll try it.
I just started a new relationship some months ago (9 months exactly) my mate is kind and funny, he always knows how to make me laugh when I have a bad day. We've been sharing so many things and trust each other but recently he has been asking me for sex, I've been telling him "maybe next time" "I'm not ready" and stuff like that.
The reason? well, there's something I've been keeping as a secret from him and even from my best friend; it's embarrassing for me to say it but since I've been reading some of the letters published here, I guess I shouldn’t feel that way because you sound like a kind bear who always help other furries in need.
I'll say it and hope this won't sound strange or make readers feel uncomfortable: I have two vaginas, that's right, you read it well. Even though it's not a risk for my health, this condition makes me feel like a freak and makes me think that I will never have a normal sexual life. Honestly, I don't know how I'm supposed to tell my mate this or even if I should tell him.
I'm so desperate because I'm afraid that if I don't tell him I'll lose him or if I tell him I'll lose him anyway.
Mare
* * *
Dear Mare,
What you have is a condition called “uterus didelphys.” It is, obviously, something you are born with in which you have two vaginas, two uteruses, and two of all the other reproductive organs a female normally has. There are other women out there like you, and though the condition isn’t common, there are quite a few cases of it.
In your form submission, you mention you are 36 years old. I would hope that, by this time, you have seen a gynecologist and talked to your doctor about your condition. Women with uterus didelphys can sometimes suffer from menstrual pain and sometimes have trouble with pregnancy (a C-section is usually needed when the baby is brought to term), but this is not always the case. Often, women can have normal, healthy lives.
That you have waited so long before having a serious relationship with a man to the point you are considering sex tells Papabear how extremely uncomfortable you are with this. People are often uncomfortable whenever they feel “different” from the norm. But there ARE people out there just like you. In fact, here is a good website for you to meet them and get more information: http://uterusdidelphys.webs.com/.
Now, about your boyfriend. First of all, you should never allow yourself to be pressured to have sex when you don’t want it. However, if you WANT to have sex with this man, you should not let your condition keep you from having a satisfying sex life. You can approach this two ways: 1) Don’t tell him and just go to bed with him. Chances are he will be so excited he won’t even notice you have two vaginas, though he might briefly wonder why your parts feel a bit different (let’s face it, men are pigs when it comes to sex, LOL—I can say that, because I am one); 2) You can tell him from the get-go about your condition. Tell him that you can have sex like any other woman, it’s just that your parts are a bit different—there is actually a chance that this guy will think it’s pretty cool—just being frank here.
If your boyfriend is a good person, he will stay with you no matter what because he loves you. If he leaves you because of this issue, then he is not good boyfriend material anyway. A good mate is a loyal and loving mate. Never let fear make the decisions for you. Be who you are; love with all your heart; love fearlessly.
You have nothing to be ashamed of. This is part of who you are and, bearing in mind the possible medical side effects you might have (sometimes women with uterus didelphys have problems with miscarriages), you can have a good and healthy life. You’re in your thirties; it is way past time for you to come to terms with it and try and enjoy the life you have been given.
Good luck!
Papabear
