After a successful Kickstarter campaign producer, director, and all-around monster fan Frank H. Woodward managed to finish his latest documentary, Men in Suits. It’s the story of several men (and yes, women) who have made names for themselves in Hollywood (and other centers of movie-making) by putting on giant, bulky, uncomfortable rubber suits and portraying giant monsters in movies, TV series, commercials and more. People like Doug Jones (from Hellboy), Haruo Nakajima (from MANY Godzilla movies), Michelan Sisti (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Bobby Clark (the Gorn from the original Star Trek), and many many more. Some of them are no longer with us (like the great Kevin Peter Hall from Alien and Harry & the Hendersons), but this film interviews a great many actors who still are, letting us in on what it’s like to work in such conditions — and what it’s like to find your job being replaced by CGI. So, who likes exotic characters? (Including link to awesome webcomic in the comments!)
Looking for a few family commissions... in search of artists!!
I am looking for an artist who would be willing to do at least 2 seperate pictures of my family. There are 2 who would be in both pictures. The charaters consist of the following, broken down into the two pictures i would like.
Picture 1: Myself (tiger/leopard hybrid), my mate (snow Lynx), and my sister (taur)
Picture 2: Myself, my sister (taur), my other sister (feline, she keeps changing her pattern >.<), and my brother (black leopard)
I would like them in color, flat color is fine, a little shading would be better. I know that both of these pictures would be a large amount of work, and i am willing to pay for them. I just can't seem to find someone who would be willing to do both.
If i love both of these, i may get another done of just me and my mate.
I am looking for artists, who need the commissions and have the talent to have these printed and displayed in my house. Please give me input as to what artists you like, and help me find one who NEEDS the $.
