During the holiday season so much focus seems to be on gift giving. Roo and Tugs protest each year by inviting you to share what you're grateful for and read your emails on the air. This time, they're joined by Kethi, who shares his own perspectives between your emails. So part of the advice I was given was to introduce myself to make friends. So hi, I'm GreenThumbDragon. I'm not new though, I had an account before but deleted it. Grassland Dragon. I don't do much, except surf Youtube.

I'm always down for talking. However, I'm not very active on this site. If you want to talk you'd be better off finding me on FA or Facebook. I don't have or use IMs, nor do I give them to people I don't know. Don't wait for me to start, if you want to talk go for it.

P.S. I'm anti-touch and kinda hard to get along with. ...I'm not doing a good job of selling myself, am I?

Hello everyone! Last week's thread turned out rather well, and so I intend to make this a weekly occurrence as long as others continue to be helped! I would like to thank everyone who decided to open up to the community last week, as well as those who gave their time to assist the furs who were feeling down.

Additionally, if anyone has any ideas on how this thread could be improved upon, please do not hesitate to send me a PM! I would love to make this the best place it can be.

This is a thread dedicated to helping other furries who may be experiencing problems and are looking for somebody to talk to.

Users have sometimes stated that it is difficult to express their sorrows or misfortunes on this sub because they do not want to feel burdensome or unwelcome in what is normally a very happy-go-lucky environment. And so, this thread is to encourage furs to open up with their issues and to seek help from others.

If grief has been on your mind or something has been bothering you as of late, big or small, please leave a comment for myself and others to see if we can be of any help, or at least lend a sympathetic ear. Alternatively, if you feel pretty nice about yourself today, don't be afraid to browse any existing comments and see if you can make somebody's day a little better. Maybe you have experience with what that person might be dealing with. Or perhaps you just want to let them know that they have a person to talk to.

However, here are the principles from last week that should be considered:

• I am aware that unfortunately, misfortune does not have a curfew. This thread is not in any way meant to contain negative emotion on the sub, but is meant to be a convenient place for others to open up and find somebody to talk to. If you experience strife at any other time during the week, do not feel like you must wait until Saturday to state it. Please feel free to make your own post.

• This thread is not meant to replace professional help. If you feel that you could have depression or any other similar psychological condition, you are still invited to post, but it is highly recommended that you seek a form of professional help as well.

• Suffering is not a competition. Do not feel like your issues are too slight, or insignificant to post. You are invited to express your problems no matter their scale. Your sadness is just as valid as any others.

• Last but certainly not least, if you are responding to a comment do your best to be as thorough and insightful as possible. Do not just comment and forget about the other person afterward. While little pick-me-ups can help, do your best to be there for the other person. Encourage discussion and do not be afraid to have more in depth conversations. The comment section is always fine, but if either of you feel that you must talk in a more private setting, do not be afraid to use PM or Skype.

Does anyone know a good refsheet artist that isn't afraid to be anatomically correct (nsfw), would work with me to get it right/be creative and not just ask for exactly what I want, and isn't super stylized in their own way? Thanks, fuzzies.

I'm looking to buy a new tablet, the Wacom I have is ancient and it has no sensitivity or stabilization, I'm not sure it ever did, it was very basic. It worked well for what I needed it for for ages, but not anymore. I can't complain though, it's lasted 10 years.

I don't necessarily need the least expensive tablet in the world, it's just mean I could get it sooner which isn't necessarily better, but this old tablet is driving me nuts.

I need something that's at least 10-12 inches in long and maybe 8 inches wide in size I think, the one I have now is about 8 x 8 and it's wide enough but not long enough. That's just a minimum.

I would possibly like one with a display screen. I know that jacks up the price and size but I think it might work better for me since I'm used to sketching everything I do traditionally and then scanning and using the tablet to finish, it'd be nice to cut out the traditional step which I don't think I could do with a screenless tablet with all the practice in the world.

Again money isn't really a thing, but suggesting for good tablets that are about the size I'm looking for, screenless and not that are at a lower price range would be best. I only say that because I don't want people suggesting the most expensive tablets out there. I draw art as a hobby I'm not a pro.

EDIT: If you could list a specific model you know that I could look up to make it easier, that'd be great. right now I'm having trouble even finding how to find tablets with display screens that are for art and like, iPads ~_~.
