My buddy and I went camping, we got bored during the night and you know what we did? We painstakingly read through the entirety of SeaSalt's "adventure" in, The Deep Dark, for shits and giggles... Holy Christ it was bad. But, on the bright side, I made it more fun by narrating the characters in silly voices, and the comments were hilarious too. So that comic is going on my never again list.

Good day everybody, I wanted to come to you all with an idea. Being in this fandom for the short time that I have has helped me with several problems in my life, and I wanted to return the favor.

Many people use this community as a place for understanding. To break away from whatever issues may be in the word and just be happy for a moment. I think that this is a wonderful thing, but I have come across a few users in my time expressing that they never bring up their misfortunes because they feel that if they did, they would feel burdensome and unwelcome in the normally happy-go-lucky environment.

I propose that we have a weekly thread encouraging others to post in it about what has been bothering them. Whether it be minor annoyances, or more complex issues, I think it would be really helpful to those who are seeking comfort, and encourage users, who would normally be hesitant, to open up to others. Furthermore, I would hope that this would show members of the sub that this community is there for them, and not just in the context of the thread, but on a greater scale.

Of course this proposal could have potential pitfalls. If this were to become a thing, I would not want people to think that they must wait to list their grievances until Saturday (or whatever date is decided) thinking that the post is an attempt to contain all the negative emotion. Like I said, the main agenda of the thread would be to encourage others to express there sorrows whenever they may be feeling it. Not just on that specific day. And of course this would be no substitute for professional therapy, but I suppose that could be stated in the thread itself. Additionally, there is the concern that many may find their issues to be 'insignificant' in the face of more potentially daunting issues, however I feel that stating the fact that everyones problems are equally important and deserving to be heard, no matter the scale, could help dispel that.

So what do you all think? I would be fine with posting it tomorrow, but I wanted the community's opinion on this before I did anything. I would be very grateful if as many people as possible listed their criticisms or things they would do differently in order to make this proposal the best it can be. The Furry Art Request Roulette is going to be taking a (hopefully short) hiatus while I tidy up all of the old posts (mostly adding in links to all of the art that's been created - I'll be asking artists for some help with this), re-vamping the submission forms and making sure all the previous requests are fulfilled.

Hi!

I just got done creating a new subreddit- /r/SecretFurrySub. If any one here is familiar the secret subreddit, it is exactly like that only furry, and instead of a corporation, it is a town and, and there are tigers.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, you should still go check it out. It may be fun. You can make yourself whoever and whatever you want, You can do whatever you want, go wild (Although I would like to keep it SFW)

There is a wiki that explains all this a bit more, and as the sub grows, it will too.

I've mostly just been lurking here sometimes, and I guess I'll try and introduce myself. I'm a 25 year old guy from Sweden. I'm not completely new to the fandom, but I haven't been really involved with it either, and I'll admit that I'm a bit shy. Still a bit of a closet furry, but don't want to make too big of a deal out of it either. My fursona is a Great Dane. Tall, muscular, black fur, cropped ears and amber eyes. Fairly generic, but that's how I like it.

I draw sometimes, but it's usually going rather slow. I don't have a whole lot of interests than for example music, learning to play the guitar and computer games.
