Any furry parents?
I was curious, and I assume somebody around here cares for a child, what is it like being a parent and having an interest in the furry fandom? How involved would you say you are? Are your children involved as well? Do they know of your interests and hobbies related to furry, or are you more reserved about it? Were you a furry before you had children?
As I said, just a curiosity of mine.

How much does it "cost" to attend a furry convention?
Giving some thought to checking out Further Confusion next month, but I want to figure out how much I would have to budget for it. Consider:
- I'm coming up from the LA area. I'm not averse to taking a BoltBus or something similar to save on transportation costs.
- It's my first convention, I won't know anyone there, so sharing a room with someone is likely out of the question.
- I'd like to have some money to spend on stuff while I'm there, not counting food and whatnot.
