What is your opinion on the use of real fur on accessories? (Tails, ears, etc)

Hey. So, I was a long term "closet furry". I always denied and rejected the idea that I, myself, was a furry and always harassed furries on social media and such. I didn't want to be "accused" of being a furry for the longest time, but here I am. I'm a furry, just like the rest of you. I'm really looking forward to my time in this community. I think furries are just a fun and happy group in general and I need some of that in my life. I love mascotting too and the whole fursuiting idea just speaks to me. I plan on going to FWA 2016. I've always loved animals and anthros as long as I can remember, but I'm not into the fetish side of it at all. I'd like to meet some new people and hopefully start some new furiendships with you guys!

Does your 'sona have a favorite fictional world? What would happen if they were suddenly transported to it?

*this can be either a fictional world that already exists, or a fictional world that exists in your own fur universe.

For me, it was not talking in fursuit.... yup. I remember when I first started watching fursuit videos, before I officially became I fur, I'd feel uncomfortable when the fursuiters wouldn't talk! It was sort of creepy, for some reason.

Now I enjoy all kinds of suits, talk or no talk! I'm actually really impressed when people can use only body language to convey a character.

Starting a discussion for you guys :) basically, what am asking is.. What would be something new (or improved) that a fursuit could have, or be built with, or include, that would just 'wow' you? Personally, I would LOVE to see some ear twitching/moving! What about you guys?

So here I come to the bandwagon, fully armored in subtle vanities. This is a great time for the discussion of how we don't discuss anything anymore to come up, because now it gives me an excuse to get this off my chest:

I think we as a community are terrified at the possibility of accidentally hurting each other. It's why we never trade certain bits about ourselves, or give our opinions on important issues, or even discuss the messy stuff that usually tears apart friendships.

But it's for all this stuff that causes fighting that makes us much more intimate with each other. We can't be authentic human beings if we're all just sparkle-hugs-and-glitter for each other ALL the time. I think it would be the best thing in the world for us to discuss politics and religion if just for the chance not to agree with each other. I'd like for us to discuss, and argue, or at least get a chance to be honest.

You've all heard it before: furries are the kindest, most accepting guys on the internet. I want for that to be true, but it isn't! Because we're so afraid of hurting or offending each other, we refuse to discuss our essential beliefs, or to talk things out when one of us hurts another.

But I do believe that it can become true in time. Perhaps furries, in addition to their love and acceptance, may also have bravery and discernment added to their titles as well.

So I'm going to put a foot forward and encourage you to do the same. I just want to be raw with you, to take off this turnip-mask for a moment and allow myself to be realized by the community.

Salutations, my name is Caleb, I'm a young-earth creationist, evangelical Christian, non-denominational. I'm pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-family, and everything else that's steadily becoming taboo these days (such is life). I don't think politics, counties, and borders are good for the world, and that I'm waiting for a world in which none of this exist.

I can become very dramatic over things at time. Some might say I need to "chill out." In fact, this fursona is the result of an existential crisis battling against total absurdity. I'm just a little narcissistic and absolutely love (and need!) for to praise, adore, and say good things about me. This affects how I work, for I hate all labor but enjoy the pay-off of smiles from the ones I love afterwards. I'm not a writer because I enjoy writing, I just want to make people happy and become famous.

Politically, I was raised Republican, but eventually became a Libertarian. I identified as those guys for a while, but become disillusioned with them and decided to just quit politics altogether.

Alright. That's enough heart-to-heart from me. It's your turn. Spill your guys out, ladies, gentlemen, and everything in between and outside. Ready? Set. Go!
