So I've noticed all the "new furry" posts, and I've graphed the number of furries that have joined /r/furry since I have over a month, (I'm a physics major, graphing is my thing. xD), and I've noticed we've been growing at a surprisingly very steady rate of 19 furries per day. That got me thinking; with all these new furries, we should be having more discussion!

So, new furries, tell us a little about yourself, and what got you into the fandom. And regulars, make some conversation! :3

Hello all! I've been interested in Furry for a few years, but haven't had any sort of presence in any Furry Communities. I'm a closet Furry, and so I don't have anyone offline to engage with as far as Furry interests which sucks. But that's why I'm here. Better late than never! Looking forward to learning a bunch about the community, and hopefully I can start sharing some art down the road. I decided that I want to try and draw, and so I might share some stuff here and there.

I know there are subreddits made specifically for this type of thing but I don't feel very welcome anywhere else.

I don't think I've been truly happy since about 2 years ago. I don't understand what's going on. I do have very brief moments in which I enjoy myself but afterwards it's straight back to gloom. I never seem to be in an "ok" mood anymore, it's always either in a short good mood or feeling like shite. When I try to do something to cheer myself up like play games or browse this sub, it just doesn't work because my mind just keeps reminding me of all my worries every couple of minutes. I keep worrying and worrying and worrying about everything non-stop. I even stopped in the middle of typing this to panic and worry about everything for a few seconds.

It'd be greatly appreciated if at least one of you lovely people of r/furry could help in any way.

Okay, so I found this subreddit a couple days ago, but I never actually introduced myself.

Hi, /r/furry, I'm new to calling myself a furry. I've enjoyed anthro fiction and drawings for a long time now, but I never really felt any reason to call myself a "furry" until I found this subreddit and saw how nice people are here. Seems like a community I'd like to be a part of.

I'm a Junior Computer Science student (Religious Studies minor). I enjoy creative writing, programming, petting cats, anime, webcomics, video games, and trying to solve complex technology issues that I know virtually nothing about. And when I get my degree, I'll probably go into the nonprofit sector, because I don't much care for money; I just want to make an impact on the world, do something worthwhile with my life.

I'm also trying to learn art stuff with Blender, Inkscape, and Krita. If I were any good at it, I'd share drawings, offer to draw people's fursonas, et cetera. But all I have to offer is this video of my cats fighting the day we got them. Or maybe I could write you some Blender scripts or something.

Hi everybody, Darian from MashMe here!

MashMe team has decided to make the character/fursona creator to be one of the first stretch goals! You’ll be able to create your fursona and animate it in real time using a webcam.

We have also decided that it would be unfair to put some big price tag to you, our supporters. So we added the fursona templates to our existing basic perks. What does this mean? For 10$ you will get MashMe with first batch of fursona templates. For 60$ (this is Kickstarter exclusive) you will get MashMe, and all fursona templates we make in the future.

A couple of quick remarks. If we pass the 50,000$ goal of finishing MashMe, but we don’t pass the Character/fursona creator stretch goal, we will still make it, but it will take longer to make it. After we make the fursona creator, we will look into ways to create more apps where you could use the characters you create

Now we really need your help if everyone here wants something like this. We need you to spread the word about us on all the groups you are a part of, but you will need to explain to them this part with character/fursona creator (you can always link to this reddit post). It is impossible to change the campaign so that “Create and become your character” would be upfront, so on your tweets and share put the title “Create and become your fursona”.

I can’t describe to you how excited am that I have met this creative community who are into this idea. Thank you for helping us fulfill our dream of making this creative tool for everybody :)

I'm looking for an artist that does tribal motifs of furs (outfits, settings, etc). Any suggestions would be wonderful, as browsing FA is not easy for something this specific :)

Dear /r/furry Community!

Lately my life is quite boring (nothing todo after work...) so I wanted to ask you this:

Would you play on a community Server (could be every game you like) / would you use a voice server where we could talk / game together?
