Midwest FurFest is looking forward to welcoming travelers to Chicago this November 19th-21st for our 2004 convention! This year, our theme is Around the World in 80 Days and we're looking forward to bringing you a world of fun--if not for 80 days, at least for 72 hours. We hope to see you there!

We will once again be at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, Illinois. Rooms for weary Midwest FurFest travelers will be $89 a night--you can even make your reservations now by calling (847) 605-1234. Be sure to mention that you're with Midwest FurFest to get our group rate.

We are pleased to welcome our Guests of Honor, Ursula Vernon, and Jared Ledger, aka Scribblefox, to our tour.
Ursula Vernon is an illustrator from North Carolina who has done everything from fantasy illustration and book cover design to online webcomics. Examples of her work can be found on the cover of SofaWolf Press recent furry short story anthology 'Best in Show', her online comic 'Digger' (available at http://www.graphicsmash.com), and her own personal website at http://www.metalandmagic.com.

Jared Ledger (Scribblefox) will also be joining in on our trip around the world from British Columbia. He is well known for his fursuit creations featuring intricate detailing and excellent craftsmanship. His artwork doesn’t stop with the shaping of fursuits either, being a wonderful artist on paper also. You can view his work by visiting http://www.onefurall.com.

MFF-Talk is a discussion list, a place to ask questions or talk about Midwest FurFest. The number of messages on this list will depend on the subscribers. There is also a digest format available for this list.

You can subscribe to any of these lists by emailing major@furfest.org with any subject, and in the message put:

When you subscribe to either list, information will be sent to you on how to unsubscribe, should you wish to do so later. 'Major' (Majordomo) is an automated process, you should not send mail to 'major' other than subscribe, unsubscribe, and other commands that will be explained in your welcome message.
