What details are minute and specific in your fursona?

Mine lie in Mono's weaponry and fighting style.

Weapons:

Jikdo Kagum (Korean straight sword). Name: ??? (igyodo) Translation: Heretic

A simple straight sword, very plain in design but well contructed.

Hwando (single-handed curved sword). Name: ??? (sanyang-gae) Translation: Hound

Much more modern in design with a Strider Knife paracord grip. The blade is serrated and is more scarily adorned.

Dual Combat Knives. Name (both): ?? (janhag) Translation: Cruelty

Simple knives designed to stab through armor and make his kickboxing strikes more deadly.

Six Throwing Knives. Name (collectively): ??? (maleumbyeong) Translation: Blight

Being exposed to the air and strapped to his legs where dust is kicked up, they get very dirty very quickly leading to wounds becoming afflicted with infection and gangrene.

Collapsible Baton. Name: ?? (sagi) Translation: Cheater

A simple steel collapsible baton, due to it's size it tends to go unnoticed until he actually hits you with it.

Fighting Style:

Mono combines kickboxing and street brawling for hand-to-hand combat (he uses many illegal low-blow moves).

For sword play he focuses on parrying his opponent's strikes and relentlessly attacking the subsequent openings when using a single sword.

When dual wielding his Kagum and Hwando (former in right, latter in left) he uses the opponent's survival instincts against them. They focus more on what appears to be the greater threat, the serrated Hwando, and focus more on it becoming blindsighted to the larger primary Kagum (even if they realize the trick, instincts are hard to ignore).

Mono will also, almost always hold objects in his left hand in a backwards grip unless the object can only be used in a regular grip (i.e. bows and arrows).

What specific details do your fursonas have?

So I've done a number of free headshots, I like drawing for people. I wanna see if anyone would be up for an art trade though.

Kayno I've already got you, but that gave me the idea to see if anyone else might.

Call me selfish, but I'm kinda hyped seeing people drawing my sona, Azure. That surprise gift yesterday made me think how much I like seeing her in other styles.

I don't usually do art trades, but I'm down to draw your sona if you draw mine. I'll match what you do, headshot for headshot, colored for colored. Please link art examples if you can.

Just curious where all of you go to get your community fix. Do you have certain forums you like, chat rooms, do you live on Skype/kik?

I mean, I love it here and all, but it hasn't been quite so much fun with the imvu buyout and the panic-anger posts every day.

I've been semi-frequenting this subreddit for a while now. I was excited to find it, a community that can interact directly beyond tumblr and FA! I'm not super active, but I've always enjoyed seeing people's art and posting my own. Which is where I suppose my question comes into play: why the dislike for buff/bear furries? It doesn't seem like anything not skinny and delicate makes it to the front page here. It's disappointing (?) finding this subreddit for all furries and realizing my loves aren't included in the hive mind. Disclaimer: I'm not trying to start an argument, it's been bugging me for a while :/ (and hey, if my stuff simply ain't gonna be appreciated, I'm not leaving. I love seeing other people's :>)

My mate and I are having some....intimacy....issues and I'd like some advice. I've got a issue. It involves this fandom, my closest friends, and my parents. Here it is:

So in the first grade I met 3 really great people. They are Sebastian, Jason, and Nic. These people are the most trustworthy people I know, I rely on them for just about everything, and they do the same for me. They talk, listen, help me out, and cheer me up in my worst times. I've known them for 7 1/2 years, and I don't know where I would be without them. They are the best people I know.

I don't want them to leave me because I am a furry. They might think differently of me, and not see the same person who's been the same friend all this time. I know its not serious, but I don't want to take risks with the few people I have. They fill the void of loneliness because of the lack of true friends I have at my current school, they are not there all the time.

On top of all that, if I told them and they leave me, then if they are asked to hang out by their parents, they would probably say why and then get into contact about my parents about all this, resulting in huge trouble because I don't know you guys.

What should I do? I'm trying to first get their input on the fandom through posting photos that were labeled as cringe (even though they are not) and see how seriously they think of it.
