I've got a gift code and money set aside to spend but I'm getting frustrated trying to communicate with Lemonbrat about my custom - help?

Furry Reddit - Fri 16 Jan 2015 - 14:44

My reddit Secret Santa got me a generous gift code for lemonbrat back in early December. My dad also gave me a couple hundred bucks for my birthday, so I was super stoked to get a custom hoodie. The only problem is I can't get Lemonbrat to communicate with me with any regularity or really almost at all.

I first contacted them with a custom request back in early December as soon as I got the gift code. I never heard anything back, not even a "We're super busy, but we got your request!" I figured holidays were busy and I'd try in January. I prowled the customs listings just in case and saw nothing.

Fast forward to about two weeks ago and I resubmitted a request. Lo and behold, a response the very next day! I got the price quoted and it was within budget. I said all their notes looked great and asked them to clarify one detail, then I'd give them the go-ahead to make it. Aaaaaand... it's been 10 days and I haven't heard back. Again.

I'm getting super frustrated by this. I shot them another email today asking to confirm the last one. Don't know if the lack of communication is typical or what. I have a gift code to them so it's not exactly like I can take my business elsewhere. Anyway, thanks for listening to the venting and if you have any hints or had similar frustrations I'd love to hear them.

Will Keeping His Trashed Fursona Identity Harm His Future in the Fandom?

Furry News Network - Fri 16 Jan 2015 - 07:57

Well this is interesting, I’m asking a question on the same day I found your blog! (Is that the right word? I don’t know. ;w; […]

Do you furs believe that we as people can make friends with people online or do you consider friendship as a strict "real life" kind of deal?

Furry Reddit - Fri 16 Jan 2015 - 06:11

I'm curious to hear what you have to say on the matter seeing as how furries interact with each other extensively online.

Purely for discussion purposes.

I want to get into art, but I have nary an idea of what to do.

Furry Reddit - Fri 16 Jan 2015 - 01:53

I know I should probably be posting somewhere like /r/art, but I'm a furry and I'm mostly interested in drawing furry stuff so, here I am. I bought a sketch pad and pencils about a month ago and have done some sketches, all copying the art of another artist to the best of my abilities. I just feel like there's no improvement and I want to give up. What do I do to motivate myself? And should I get a tablet? I feel as if a tablet would make it easier to learn and improve instead of pencil and paper. Any artists wanna lend me a hand here?

The Untold Story

In-Fur-Nation - Fri 16 Jan 2015 - 01:50

“… of the animals who didn’t get on the Ark.” That’s the official tag line of Oops! Noah is Gone, a new CGI feature film coming out later this year. Produced in Germany and animated all over Europe, it follows the story of David and his young son Finny, the last of the Nestrians, and what happens when one of them misses the boat — literally. The official English trailer explains it all better… sort of. No word yet on if it’s to be released to North American theaters or only on DVD. Thanks to Cartoon Brew for the heads-up.

[Don’t forget, nominations for the Ursa Major Awards are open now! And with that, we’ll see you all after Further Confusion!]
