My first post flew largely under the radar, so here's a second one. I'm a freelance writer who is currently writing a furry novel (?) and I could use some headshots of four characters from said novel. Because I am a freelance writer at Christmastime, I'm obviously broke, so I can't commission anyone in earnest. Therefore, art trades are my last hope. Which is where you come in. If you have a character with a backstory that you'd like to see do things/have things done to him/her/it, I'm your man. Leonard Cohen Shoutout

I'm moderately skilled at writing. I can portray virtually any set of circumstances you may come up with, as well as a wide range of settings and time periods. I won't write pornography/yiff, not even softcore, and I won't write about suicide/mental illness for personal reasons. Everything else is fair game. Ten thousand words is my limit, and my timeframe is two to three days.

Disclaimer: I am utterly jobless, so you basically get a 100% guarantee of delivery, and unless someone near me dies/gets married in the near future, I won't postpone the due date. You get what you pay for.

If you're not a visual artist, you can commission me for free. I'll write it for you because I honestly have nothing better to do. The above is just a sort of polite social contract thing which would be of practical use to both parties. If you'd rather that I slave away for you in exchange for nothing, that can be arranged.

Characters I need drawn as headshots only:

1. Wolf, male, shoulder-length brown hair, grey fur, white muzzle, average looking, brown eyes.

2. Sphinx cat, female, no hair on head, wears a scarf similar to a hijab which is red in colour with a flower pattern. Green eyes, thin black fur, no other discerning markings.

3. Bengal tiger, male, messy black hair, standard bengal tiger pattern (orange fur, black stripes, white muzzle and part of face), unshaven scruff on chin. Blue eyes.

4. Caribou, female, below shoulder white hair with black streaks and tips, wears thin-rimmed modern eyeglasses, and has a patchy complexion which is a mixture of brown and white in large, uneven spots. She has a pair of thin, black lines running from the corners of her eyes to the side and downward, until one quarter down her face. Brown eyes.

All characters are between the ages of 20 and 22. That's all.

For a while now, I have been trying to learn how to appropriately model and animate 3D meshes. The problem I run into is that while using either YouTube tutorials or the tutorials provided by the manufacturer of the software, I feel like I am never truly getting an understanding of what I should be doing and I have no one to have conversational feedback. I then become discouraged and put it down long enough to forget about the basics I spent time learning in the first place. I have considered using services like LivePerson to speak to "experts", but at $2.50+ a minute, I will not be able to pay for very many meaningful sessions. I also fear that the "experts" I speak with will not be comfortable with furry content once I get into more advanced techniques. Is there anyone out there willing to guide me through this complex world? I currently have 3DS Max and Zbrush and would love for someone to spend some time over a screen share service of your choice. I am willing to pay (via paypal) as long as it is reasonable. If anyone out there is willing, I only have a few questions:

How much would you charge?

Could I see some of your work?

How comfortable with Zbrush/3DS Max are you?

Would you prefer voice sessions or via text?

What screen share application would you prefer?
