Wearing a Diaper in Public Makes Her Nervous
I am a submissive baby wolf puppy girl and love dressing in skirts and dresses, however, public outings are almost never an option as I wear diapers due to nerve damage. How can I become braver if I am so shy?

Dear Sawina,
This question is relevant to both those like you who wear diapers out of medical necessity and those who do it because they like to (ABDL or Adult Baby Diaper Lovers).
I admit I’m not an ABDL person, nor do I know anyone with incontinence problems, so I did a little Internet searching and found this article by Adrian Surley. She suggests a couple of things:
- Begin slowly, start by wearing them out in public at night.
- Wear thinner diapers if possible.
- Start with baggier, loser-fitting clothes.
- Try not to be self-conscious. Most likely, people won’t notice at all. If they do, most people are polite about it. They aren’t going to point and shout, “You’re wearing a diaper!”
Surley is an ADBL, and she notes that people really don’t act rudely, unless you’re also someone who wears baby clothes in public. THAT does draw attention.
Read Surley’s article and see if that helps. No pun intended, but take baby steps. Start with shorter times in public places and, as you get more comfortable, increase the amount of time you spend with others.
I’m sorry about your nerve damage. Having a medical condition is nothing to be ashamed of. If, for some reason, you do get asked (most likely if a small child sees the diaper somehow; kids don’t realize the questions they ask are sometimes inappropriate; they just ask because they want to know) just explain that you have to because of the nerve damage. Be frank. It’ll be okay.
Hugs,
Papabear

Since you guys like to draw so much...
Hey all. I'm an aspiring pro illustrator. Life is a confusing mess though and I've been stuck in a rut for a long time :( I think I'm a good example of lost potential. A nasty thought but there it is. I should be pro. Anxiety, depression...I'm venting sorry.
ANYWAY I have picked up a good amount of information during my struggles about the process of learning this art stuff. I thought I'd drop a few links and answer any questions you guys have. I've never considered myself a furry but the attraction is there I suppose. I enjoy drawing fluffy things for sure.
First off I recommend anybody starting out Glenn Vilppu's drawing manual. Read his words and copy+analyze his drawings. Do it again and again. This is the guy that taught some of Disney's greatest animators. They swear by him.
Tip #1: Gesture is king. It is the essence of drawing. Implied motion, weight, character. If you feel your characters are stiff or lacking life, whatever, this is your problem. Its every artist's problem. Practice this every day.
Tip #2: Practice simple shapes first. don't get ahead of yourself. I mean keep drawing your characters too but find a balance. The thought of drawing such mundane things is unattractive but If you can't draw a cube in correct perspective from any angle, you've no hope to draw a well constructed head, torso, whatever.
Tip #3: Draw from life. If you want to get good, I mean legitimately good, there's no way around this. "But Lofi, how does drawing the items on my coffee table help me draw a bipedal rainbow fox?" You need to learn to take the 3d world we all relate to and interpret it on a 2d surface. With enough practice its as if you're reaching into the page itself to bring your character to life. A sculptor with a pencil.
Tip #4: This shit is hard. It really is. It takes a long time to see results and never entirely stops feeling like a struggle. Learn to enjoy the process and don't rest in your comfort zone. Mediocrity awaits you if you do. You can produce beautiful images that really connect with people, or be forgettable. Your choice.

Learn some perspective as well. Not optional. I'm pretty sure ctrlpaint has some good stuff on it. Maybe Feng Zhu's youtube channel too.
Best of luck!

0/3 SLOTS FILLED
Hey r/furry!
I'd like to warm up my ol' writing skills so I thought that our community is creative and unique in what prompts it could offer. So do you have an idea for arealativlyshort adventure? Or a concept of a an event including, or not, your fursona? (Pictures are preferred!) It can be as simple as an going to a gift shop to a short story. I'm looking to do anything between 1-6 pages in smaller font. Story? Drop it bellow! I'll be picking three and will single them out tomorrow night. If/when I pick you, I'll reply saying that I did. If I don't reply to you, know...
I still read it, and appreciate your idea.
Just because you (possibly) wrote a small novel, or extremely vague/basic, comment doesn't assure you a spot.
You're* super extra fluffy/scaly/feathery and I love that. :3
If I pick you, your final product will be sent via a message on here. I'll update as I go!

Anyone willing to draw my fursona?
I'm a student with little money so all I can give you is my thanks and credit where/when I post it. I don't really have references but know what I want in general and could find stuff if it helps you.

Furry Resource Website
What kind of stuff would you guys like to see on a furry resource website? Stuff about fursuit care and maintenance, what to pack for cons, tutorials on how to make your own fursuit stuff, links to con videos and information? Interviews with notable members of the fandom? What else?
