Edit 2; Thank you everyone for the responses! Though furies still isn't something I find an interest in, I'm sure your community will grow. I'm glad everyone answered in a polite manner and there was no fighting (though I need thought there would be). So thank you for the feedback, and the reason you dress up as animals was opened to me by grayscales_dragon who's answer was short, sweet, and full of fact; Because animals are damn awesome.

And if I had to pick a side, team reptiles, or snakes, or lizards, or turtles, I still don't know that much about furies :P

Edit; I get that people like the community, I'm just wondering why people like about the furies themselves, like the talking animals, that's what I don't get.

First, I'm not a furry, but I'm not judging you, you do what you, it doesn't hurt anybody, I'm fine with it.

I'm just wonder what the appeal is. I've tried to get why people like it, but I honestly can't see why.

Could you please explain the appeal of it? Again, I'm not judging, I just want to know.

Ok so, I've been sick for three months, which has led me to explore around on the internet more than usual. I then found the concept of furry. I've been blown away with the awesome art work. However that's just it, I think the art is amazing, but I'm not into costumes, (though I love looking at the work put into them), or the sexual nature of fandom. (Not that I don't accept that, just not for me). Even though I only like one aspect, am I a furry? Or just someone who is interested on a surface level? I hope I haven't said anything ignorant or stepped on any toes, I'm not entirely sure what's accepted around here yet. Thank you for your time and patience.
