So, I have a few questions. If I should tag this post NSFW for a question, tell me.

• What are the requirements to being a furry?

• Why do you like being a furry?

• Opinions on fursuits? Yiff?

• Would you consider yourself a furry?

All that I knew before I looked into this was that furries were people that liked having sex in animal costumes. But once I looked into it, it seems that there's an entire community. My opinion has changed, but I wanted to make sure that I'm right about what a furry is in the eyes of a furry.

I found them both in youtube videos, and the uploader didn't credit the specific artists (although he did say that all the work belonged to their respective artists.)

So I was using my phone's word flow keyboard (like Swype, but for windows phone) and typed "furaffinity". It was recognized as a word by default!

Anyone want to play some Battlefield 4? I have premium and all the DLCs downloaded, but I don't mind playing non-DLC maps. Communicating over Skype or something similar would be preferable but not necessary.

I'm still learning about the fandom, and I've noticed some phrases and the like being used that seem unique to furries. So I got to wondering, is there a list somewhere that has all of them with their meanings? And if there isn't, should one be made?

Or is it possible that I am simply over-thinking this?

...but I can't help feel it even worse thinking that real life furries may yet be a thing with genetic modifications coming along as they are and me not living to see that day. Or even like that really old comic that had the guy living in Canada(I think?) when a vixen arrives from another dimension and they fall in love.

Basically I am lamenting that my fantasies will remain just that, yet maybe sometime in the future after I die, they might be a reality. Even worse, my fetish is for a full herm. So not only is that not a real life thing, but neither is anthropomorphic animals.

I know I am just whining, but it is a real hollow point in me that I can't fill. Maybe if I got in a relationship with someone again I could dial back my fantasies, but being alone for years has just made it worse. I would like to hear opinions from you guys, but I really just am at a socially low point in my life and it's just really hard to deal with some days.

This doesn't necessarily have to even go in this subreddit, but thought I'd ask here anyway. Whether you're a visual artist, author, musician, composer, etc, do you ever feel huge highs and lows in your mental state....mainly regarding your process? Some days I'll mentally be tuned and excited, and others I hit huge depression, with a big sinking feeling in my chest. What's ironic though is that it weirdly motivates me to keep going, even if the day feels miserable, like a "duty" that I must carry on.

I didn't know if some people approached art like watching a favorite TV show, or if the idea behind being an "artist" means you are more emotionally involved with your work. I've joked about the stereotype of someone crying and screaming in an art studio throwing mud at a wall. LOL Funny thing is, I've done music all my life, putting myself out there in front of others, but never had these feelings so viscerally emerged since a few months ago when I picked up drawing again.

Thoughts? Feelings? Curious.

This is something I've been wondering for awhile: In most anthro art, the characters all seem to have a relatively similar fashion style, More 'emo' or androgynous if you will. And a LOT of matching stockings and arm warmers in the more adult pieces. My question is: Are there brands out there that sell clothing like that? If so I'm very very interested. x3
