I'm trying to understand the process a little bit. Do you fit into some personality trait and then draw your fursona based on that? Do you just pick an animal you like and base it off that? It seems that a lot of you are foxes or wolves and I just wouldn't know where to start. I always thought otters were cool, so where do I start? Or did I just start? ahh

I'm looking at getting a partial suit made, I would like some help figuring out who to go with. I've got a decent budget for this and any help would be awesome. I've looked at theroyalbanana and their ladder commissions look good.

i have been a brony for over a year now, but have also just recently started to get into the furry stuff, i keep hearing about fursona's and decided to start on mine. and i am unsure whether to go with

a wolf

a fox

a cat

i am more leaning towards fox and wolf but am unsure how to choose, please help me decide

As we get closer to the summertime release of Marvel Comics’ Guardians of the Galaxy movie, we’re likely to see more and more of Rocket Raccoon — and his buddy Groot, the anthropomorphic tree. Lately, I've found myself unreasonably hesitant about speaking up around here. So I figured why not ask around for ways to "break the ice", and get conversations started for other new furries who might be too nervous to make that first step into the fandom? What's not to like about finding common ground with others, after all? (And if this has already been done, I'll gladly take it down.)

It's not like I'm just nervous about going to my first fur meet soon or anything like that.
