I'm an outsider to this, wasn't my thing but I've dated a furry before, and I have a passion for "demihumans" IE Viera(usagimimi), nekomini, kitsuen. ect.

And I question, is there a difference between a furry? and well. Something like a Viera? Or Lon femina ( Lon Femina )? or Aurin? or Kumiho(Ahri/Fox people)?

Basically very much human but only differentiated by small racial traits such as Viera having large rabbit ears and rabbit tales, but other then that almost identical to a human, or a Lon Femina which appears very much human but with bullhorns and Feline tails.

IF these arent furry, then what are they called?

Sorry if this seems rude or out of place. I'm just curious to know and I've been wanting to know about this. kind of a burning question?

Hi there /r/Furry! I'm currently unemployed, and trying to relocate to a better area where I have job interviews waiting, so here's the deal:

You tell me your story ideas (because I know all of you have lots of them, and I know that many of you are not very articulate writers), and I will write them for you.

I will write the first three requests as short stories (~1000 words) for no cost. These will be made available for everyone to read so you can see and judge the quality of my work. After that I will be taking commissions for $10/1000 words. (These figures are rough; I will not cut a scene short due to word count.)

Guidelines

1. I will not write smut of any kind. Write it yourself.
2. Tell me what you know about your setting and characters, as well as the general tone of the story.
   
3. I will use whatever amount of input you give me WITHIN REASON. If you have sixty pages of character description, you need a critic and an editor, not another writer. (I may perform these services as well upon request.)
4. I can write NARRATIVE or PLAYS. I personally feel I am better at the former than the latter. Requests for poetry will be ignored.
5. As a writer, my first commitment is to the quality of the story. I reserve the right to add, remove, or alter whatever scenes, characters, or other elements as I see fit.

Blah, blah, blah, enough rules, give me something to write!

Well you know Nintendo is desperate now. As long as I can remember Nintendo characters have only ever been on Nintendo consoles. Now however it seems with Nintendo looking into new financial strategies, they're willing to try a lot. From experimenting with smartphones to this apparently. Personally I'm hoping that this leads to more amazing crossover type games like Hyrule Warriors, or maybe getting Mario to appear in a fighting game as a special guest, like Link did on the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur 3.

In a strategic Q&A Satoru Iwata revealed that Nintendo is already discussing new licencing deals with a few potential new partners, though he did say that Nintendo will remain competitive so don't expect "Super Mario PlayStation" to be coming out anytime soon. Though it does get my hopes up for more games like I mentioned before.

None of these new partners have been named but this is definitely something to be excited about if you're a Nintendo fan like myself. Depending on how this goes we could be seeing some of our favourite characters in some new and exciting scenarios, and Nintendo will start making some extra cash on the side to bring us more amazing titles!

I don't know why, it seems I'm never happy with what I choose... anyone else have/had this problem. Any tips I'd really like to choose a species and stick with it.

So the Comic Book Movie site has released an image they found showing a much more detailed look at what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are going to appear like in the new film directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle Los Angeles) and produced by Michael Bay (Transformers, et al). The look is certainly… different, isn’t it? Guess we’ll see more images and probably some footage soon, as the film is scheduled for release this August.

With the recent closing and subsequent reopening of the Fur Affinity foxblocks minecraft server with a new owner, everything has changed. Before, yes there were small issues with adminning but it was a functioning, tight knit community of regulars that enjoyed spending time together and playing vanilla survival Minecraft as it should.

However, following the sale of the server from the old owner, Kyrofox, to a new owner, everything has been lost. He intends to turn it from a vanilla survival server into a factions and raiding server with minigames and PvP. Us regulars of the server disagreed with his plans and were literally told to "acept it or u get ip bannd", of which he has done so to two of our regulars already. He has destroyed the FA server community for his own selfish reasons and will likely not maximise the server to it's full use. His management style is unprofessional and does not deserve to be in charge of such an established community.

Included is an album of an example of his way of adminning. The screenshots show text he says in chat and the ban messages were sent to me by those banned.

This is not intended to become a witch hunt, which is why I will not be providing the server address, this is more of a PSA to warn those who wish to play on that server.
