As a second life content creator and everyone posting their avatars...
I wish my contributions to the community were more visible instead of just coding :P

A separate name for furries that have the fetish.
I was thinking that it can be confusing when we tell people about our fandom and they ask "wait, so you like to have sex with dogs?". Is there a separate name we could give the ones with the fetish that will hopefully catch on (possibly "yiffers") to avoid this?

Ponies in Black and White
This coming June, IDW will release something new and special for the myriad fans of their very popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic line of comics. The My Little Pony “Color Me” Treasury Edition is a special reprint of the first issue of IDW’s My Little Pony in black and white, showcasing the inking work of artist Andy Price. In addition, this collection brings together all 48 versions (!!) of the various covers for issues #1 – #4 of the comic (the first story arc). Previews magalog has a first look at this upcoming collection.

So I heard we're sharing our SL avatars?(sorry for the shitty quality, low end-laptop)
Seeing everyone else posting their SL avvies has prompted me to post my own work. I present: Sherlock Hound (made completely with prims). Sorry if he looks creepy :3

I hope its not a Dick move to post, where the guys a redditor .... but pandez and Nathan Fillion are too cute/lulzy to not put here ...
Why have people who identify as 'furries' and 'otherkin' been making such a splash recently? Surely, cavemen didn't feel like they were more animal than human? (X-POST from /r/psychology)
I googled this and I couldn't really get a good answer. I mean, I don't judge anyone, however they want to live their life is their choice, who am I to impede their lifestyle?
It's just weird that people who feel like this, happened so much more in the recent years.
I can't find any literature of this happening in older times, never has it ever been mentioned, about the possibility that some people lived and thought they were animals and as such tried to live as them.
I'm sorry if this is a known subject, my research yielded nothing. I'm not a native english speaker so I might be looking in the wrong places.
(I just watched the "What!? I'm an Animal" mini-doc on youtube and it got me wondering)
edit: I realized I phrased this wrong and I apologize. I only ask because I know nothing of it. I'm also swedish and well-versed in english but I can't get most things right, including sentence-building. I never meant to offend people with my question or thoughts.
