The Walt Disney Company and Pixar Animation have announced several new films they’ll be completing and releasing over the next couple of years.  First up is a feature film called The Good Dinosaur, written and directed by Bob Peterson (Finding Nemo, Up — he was also the voice of Dug the dog in the latter movie). This new film (set for release in May of 2014) explores what might have happened if dinosaurs never went extinct. Would they wind up being our pets? Or would we wind up being theirs? Also in the pipe are a film based on the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos, and an untitled film (set for release in 2015) about the inner workings of the human brain.

I've been thinking lately and come to the conclusion that even though I'm a cat and I relate more to cats, I have more affection for wolves.

I can't imagine myself as a wolf at all. They're highly social, and completely dependent on one another. I'm the opposite, like a jaguarundi, I'm plain, independent, and shy away from noise and social gatherings.

As much as I love them, I have to admit, though, that cats are jerks. It can sometimes be entertaining or maybe even endearing, but other times it's just annoying. All the undesirable traits in them are the same that I see in myself- snobbish, vindictive, and short-tempered.

Wolves and dogs just make better friends than a cat even though I share almost nothing in common with them.

Anybody else have this kind of weird love/hate relatiohship with your fursona?

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Kyell Gold is having a contest and it’s pretty simple. Just guess the final word count on the “OOP3+4 manuscript” which will be out soon. The count currently is 255,000 words so guess anything from that number and up. The prize is a charity auctioned misprinted copy of “Isolation Play” with a passage from an original non-canonical story handwritten in it (and MAYBE a Blotch sketch).
