I was just wondering, what sort of merchandise does everyone here have? Or what would they like to?

My bedroom has quite a few nice pictures of myself (All rabbity and such) As drawn by my mate. I have some bunny ear hairclips, headband and a hat, as well as a tail. I also have the bunny rabbit plushie I've had since I was a little cub XP

As we wish you all a happy, healthy, and creative New Year in 2012, it’s time to start thinking about what we’re going to award from 2011! Besides the Oscars and the Annie Awards (which many of us follow closely), for Furry Fandom it’s time to start thinking about the annual Ursa Major Awards, the anthro-fan’s answer to the Hugo Awards ™ from science fiction fandom. Nominations for 2011 are open to any and all, and they open on January 12th. If you visit the Ursa Major Awards web site, you’ll find the Recommended Anthropomorphics Reading and Viewing List for you to peruse, listing some of the many interesting items of anthropomorphic interest that came about in 2011.  Like what?  Well… movies like Rango, Rio, Puss in Boots, and Kung Fu Panda 2… TV series like Thundercats, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic… books and stories by authors like Kyell Gold, Alflor Aalto, MCA Hogarth, and Paul Kidd…  plus comics, games, artwork, and a brand new category for Best Anthropomorphic Web Site. All this and much much  more! But remember: An item does NOT need to be on the Recommended List for  you and your friends to nominate it for an Ursa Major Award. It just needs to be Furry! [Check the web site for how the Ursa Majors define that!] After the the nominations are tabulated, the voting will begin this spring — followed by the Ursa Major Awards presentation at CaliFur in Southern California this June.  Remember, last year more than 1,000 fans world wide took part in the voting.  Help to make that number even bigger in 2012!

Alright, folks!  With the start of a new year, we’re featuring a new addition to the site: a census and survey of the furry community!  We’ve pulled together a few demographic questions similar to the Furry Survey for consistency’s sake, plus some additional information about characters.  In addition to the census, we’ve also collected a few long-answer survey questions driven in part by the content of the site.  The information collected by the survey will, in turn, help steer the direction of the content.  This is your chance to help explain some of how you feel about your membership in this crazy fandom!

Anonymity

The survey is structured so that you make take it completely anonymously if you desire. While the information may drive the content of the site, your answers will never be referenced directly if you choose to remain anonymous.  However, if you are okay having your answers referenced or quoted in the site content, then you will have the option to provide a name or pseudonym, which will be used to attribute your answers back to you.  The information is collected in such a way that, if you desire to remain anonymous, there really is no way we can tie your survey responses back to you!

Survey code and pass code

At the beginning of the survey, you will have the option to either enter a survey/pass code combo, or proceed without.  If you have received a paper copy of the survey (we’re aiming to be able to give this survey out at conventions – we’re still waiting on a response from the Further Confusion board), there will be a code pair at the top of the survey: this is how we will key in your results, or, if you kept your survey, how you may key in your own results.  If you do not have a code pair, however, you may still take the survey by choosing to begin without codes.  This will generate a code pair for you and provide it on the next page of the survey.  Note: in order to have your survey responses properly attributed to you if you wish to allow us to quote them, you must enter in your survey code in the provided field here.  During the survey, you may choose which name you would like to be referred to by if at all!  Again, entering the code on this page is the only way in which we will be able to tie your identifying information to your survey responses – you may take the survey anonymously by simply not entering your code here!

It’s our second of two Kyo-less shows, and we’ve got a lot to talk about! We go into detail about Smokey being formally added as a cast member, valuing the people around you, nice-but-irritating people, inconsiderate dorm roommates, and where our new listeners came from (hi there!). From 1974 to 1977, Marvel Comics (through their Curtis Magazine imprint) published a black & white tie-in comic for the Planet of the Apes movie and TV series.  It featured not only adaptations of the five original movies, but also new adventures as well as background stories on the creation of the films.  [Full disclosure: Your ever-lovin' ed-otter grabbed every issue he could get a hold of!] Many of the stories were written by Moonknight co-creator Doug Moench (as well as Gerry Conway) and illustrated by Ghost Rider co-creator Mike Ploog (as well as Mike Esposito and George Tuska). Now, BOOM! Studios have secured the rights to re-publish those 1970′s classics under the title Terror on the Planet of the Apes, coming this February.
