Worldbuilding time! Tell me about your headcanon furry world.
In case you don't know what I mean, I'm referring to your personal thoughts on how a world full of furries would be. How it would operate and who would live there and what they would do. How do you, personally, like to think about the world of the furries?
What kind of species do or don't live there? Have they always been furries, or was there some sort of great 'turn'. Do they live in a world of magic and fantasy, or a realm of darkness and ruin? Is it a perfected utopia gifted with eternal tranquility and joy, or is it a twisted realm choked with unending suffering and dread? Whatever the case may be, I wanna hear about it!
I think one of the greatest aspects of this fandom is that there is no 'canon' source material that binds our interest together. Everyone is free to construct their own ideal world, define the mechanics and metaphysics of its lore, and create something truly unique and extraordinary with their limitless imagination. Many people have already voyaged the infinite seas of creation, so why don't you tell me about your journey and your world?

Am I alone in this?
Whenever I see someone talking about thier sona, it usually means that that is the same one they've stuck with since the start. Sure thier sona may have changed a bit, just as they themselves have, but the species, personality, etc, stays largely the same. But that was never really the case with me. I've found I don't really have a set fursona, that he (or even she) fluctuates constantly. One day I may be a monster hunting wolf named Rashu, the next a panther named Ken going through college. Almost like I cant decide. Is it an identity crisis? Maybe. Do I just like making up new characters? Almost definitely. Surely I can't be the only one who has multiple fursonas for every situation.

White Bear in a Golden Cage
According to Cartoon Brew, Lionsgate Features is set to release their next animated feature, Norm of the North, on January 15th, 2016 — which would put it in direct competition with the planned release of The Nut Job 2. Lionsgate, of course, is best known in animation circles for the Alpha & Omega films as well as (shiver!) the infamous Food Fight! movie. This time around they present the story of Norm, a polar bear who travels to New York City to try and save his arctic home from development… but winds up distracted by the glamour and glitz all around him. (Sort of “The Bear Who Fell To Earth”.) Directed by Trevor Wall, Norm of the North stars the voice of Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo). The article at Cartoon Brew includes the first trailer.

The Beginner's Guide to being a Furry
So I've been asking around Reddit (4chan's a little too hostile for the fuzzily inclined) about various aspects of the furry fandom. If I were to compile the lessons I've gathered into a book, what topics should I cover? And if such a guide exists, where can I find it?

After a long and despair filled process, I finished my very first suit head and can finally take part in Fursuit Friday!
Collars as furry fashion accessories?
I've seen quite a few furs who tend to wear/enjoy collars as fashion items and fursuit accessories and all. They look super cute, they're fun, and you can even clip your badges and IDs to them when you go suiting for a cool way of
Do any of my fellow reddit furs have a collar for their fursuit or fashion wear?
I'm planning on wearing my new, shiny collarfactory purchase with my newer, shinier, remodeled fursuit once I finish it :3 img has been furrified for furry viewing
I am intentionally glazing over the fetish aspect of collars to keep this thread SFW

How can I help contribute to the community?
Before I start, I want to say that I know that I don't need to contribute. That I don't need to contribute to actually be a furry. By simply admiring anthropomorphic creatures and the community's art, I can be a part of the community.
But... I've been lurking in the furry community for... I want to say almost two years now. I've never really taken part in any discussions, I haven't really met or made friends with anyone else in the community, and overall I'm pretty inactive in the actual community. I'd like to be active, but I'm not sure how to exactly... go about doing that.
I'd love to be able to draw for the community too, but I just keep losing motivation to actually learn. I have two characters that I continually wish to draw, but being the perfectionist I am, I never get far with any sketches because I hate the way they look, and thus I never learn. I can never visualize things well in my head either, so getting angles down or figuring out how something should look seems like a nightmare to me. I can pull up a reference, sure, but that never seems to help as I can't exactly tell what makes that reference actually look good. As such I have no art of my characters, no reference sheet, nothing. I'd love to get them out there, but I don't see how I actually can at the moment.
What I'm saying is that I want to actually take part in the community and not watch it from the side feeling useless, yet I'm unsure how to go about doing so. What can I do? I'd love to contribute in any way I can.
