Recent events in my life have led to me being here. So this is kind of an introduction type thing. (Do people do that here? I've seen it done on other subs but I have no clue if people do it here.) Serious replies only - Second - I don't want any replies of anything consensual. What you do behind closed doors is your business (and no complaining of people that do any of this, this thread is not about that)

Spawned from a recent conversation about the 'Don't Hug Me' badges it reminded me that about a year ago when the 'Costumes Don't Mean Consent' thing that came out at FC. I very honestly laughed my ass off at it however I've come to realize the more I talk to people it's very much an issue. A convention needs to do its best to protect it's attendees and all it takes it one or two occurrences over the whole con to cause an issue.

So my question is - Have you ever personally been in a situation where you were touched or had uncomfortable advances made on you while you were suiting by someone you didn't know? What happened, did you react or tell anyone? Where/when was it? Curious about serious replies only, no 'what I would do if that happened' filler. I'm just curious to see if people shrug it off and never mention it, because who are they going to tell anyway? Avoid posting any names please.
