Today, my accoun celebrates it's one month anniversary. I want to write a whole fucking story about how my perspective has changed on some areas of the fandom (looks at /u/fa_mirror) and how much "I love you people". But I think that I can put all of that in just 2 words.

But the biggest thank you goes to /u/Arawnn who actually made me stay here on this subreddit.

And I made a thing to celebrate this moment. I wrote a story. About my first day here..in a different kind of a setting.

Hey fuzzbuts!

After the amazing response yesterday, I have started to art! My experiences so far:

• Circles are difficult.
• Ears are difficult.
• Nuzzles are difficult.
• Hairs are difficult.
• Eyes are difficult.
• I will need loads more erasers...

But I'm having so much fun! After following a guide a bit, this is what I first drew. I wasn't really happy with how it turned out, so I tried again with the horizontal line a lot lower and this is what came out!

The muzzle still looks a bit too broad, but overall, I'm happy! If you have anything to point out or some tips and tricks, I'll gladly hear them! I know about furryartschool, but I wanted to share with you guys first. You inspired me to start this, helped me discover that I like this and just thank you.

Updated and Clarified:

Premise For 10 days, uninterrupted, do something! You can do one discrete thing every day [so long as each thing is thematically consistent] or do one thing over the course 10 days. If your goal is experiential, such as reading a book or meeting people etc. just post about your experience! Whatever you feel is relevant. If your goal was creative [writing, crafts, drawing] then you'd post your results!

It could be a challenge, like to draw 10 head shots a day. Or something more fun and broad like "work on my fursona everyday", or "write a scary story". You don't have to create something. You could start and finish a Furry web-comic in 10 days, or connect with a new fuzzbutt everyday. Basically, anything you want so long as it is somewhat tangible. And at the end, you share your experience or results. Any difficulties you had, or success. This is as much for you as the community. Pick something that you feel is worthwhile, and that you want to do or feel that you need to do.

Edit: So the response is promising so far! I'll let this gain some traction for a bit longer, and bounce ideas around. We'll think of a start date/end date [if we even want one]. If you have any suggestions or ideas for this project please share! I've never done anything like this, and I'm a bit of a hot mess when it comes to organization :P

Hello /r/furry, I'm new to Reddit so allow me to introduce myself. I am DrawHolic, author and artist of "The Sprawl", an ongoing sci-fi/horror comic.

The story is set on a distant world, (Maybe in our galaxy. Maybe in our future.) and opens with a team sent to investigate the fate of a survey mission which has failed to report in after discovering something at the planet's southern ice cap. What they find underneath the expedition's camp will set a much larger story into motion.

The comic is NSFW, due to the graphic violence, nudity and adult situations. It is a horror comic, after all.

The entire opening chapter is complete and posted, with the second chapter having only 9 remaining pages at the time of this post. With the current update schedule, that means the final page of LOG:02 will be posted in August with LOG:03 beginning the following week.
