(Please Read) Healing from depression, fursona change, and thanks. NSFW
(Marked NSFW for possibly triggering material.)
Thank you all so much.
Exactly three months ago I was diagnosed with depression. I had stress headaches that crippled my ability to leave the house. I was jobless for 4 months (even though I'm only 17). I even self harmed frequently, and was still single after all my life.
Then things changed.
I have gotten ride of my old fursona. She was a mean, cruel, loud dragon, who I created at the peak of my depression. She reflected what made me mentally ill. She reflected what I hated in me and others.
Now as the anti depressions and the lovely support from the lovely furry fandom, I have started to see hope in the world again. I got a girlfriend, my parents accepted me as gay (I'm a bisexual female for context), got my first job in months, and passed all the tests I thought I would fail.
To reflect this I have changed my fursona from this cruel dragon to a fluffy angel dragon named Sunny. She reflects what I live for in this world. Joy, hope, kindness, and loyalty. I feel better than I have in possibly years. And I have some of you here on this site to thank for that.
Stay strong, things will always get better.

Coming out as a furry?
People always make a fuss about it.
Why do you have the need to come out as a furry?
What "good" will happen to you from it?

Hello /r/furry! I mostly lurk but I thought I should be a bit more social here, so here is a drawing for you all!
Mort(e), by Robert Repino – book review by Fred Patten.
Hullo everyone! Would you mind helping me find something?
I only vaguely remember anything about it. It was a webcomic about a military organization who were training anthros to be super soldiers or something. All I can remember was the scene where the main character breaks out, and the human slave-master begs him not to shoot. The protagonist shoots him anyways. He knows it's just a rubber bullet. If any of you have the link to it's site that would be awesome. It's basically what introduced me to the fandom, and besides, I've read most of the other furry webcomics, and I need a new way to fuel my addiction.
