Heya introverted furs! How do you meet other furs and make friends, and where?
The title is pretty much my main inquiry, but I will give some context to it here.
I am a pretty introverted guy, love technology, especially programming, and yet I am unable to really find many friends online, while I don't mind randomly sending out messages to people it gets hard to breakthrough and exchange other methods of communication.
Once I do meet someone who gives me their kik/Skype w/e a day later things are pretty boring (as no answers) and usually no more words are exchanged, and then the communication is dead, sadly no feedback is given about if I am boring or perhaps not the right type of person. While I don't think I am the worst reader of nonverbals there are none online so that is out of the window.
What also makes it more difficult is that I tend to focus on a selected few friends at the time (and really am an active friend, as my work puts me pretty much always online) and really cannot just join a 'group' as it is pretty unpleasant to me.
I did try the r4r and furrykikpals subreddits, they seem more geared towards rp and local friends, which I would love to make, but southern West Germany is not very fur rich.
