Renee Carter Hall released her holiday ebook Wishing Season (Amazon / Smashwords) and also has anthro-themed stories in the first issue of STRAEON and in Stories in Future Tense: The 2015 Word Branch Publishing Science Fiction Anthology.
Huskyteer’s ebook Learners, featuring two short stories, is now available from Bad Dog Books and Amazon (US / UK).
Rose LaCroix’s novel The Linen Butterfly (sequel to The Goldenlea) is scheduled to debut at Further Confusion this month. Check out the cover here!
Mary E. Lowd’s space opera fable “The Little Red Avian Alien” was published in Luna Station Quarterly.
Patrick “Bahumat” Rochefort has launched his new web serial From Winter’s Ashes and will begin regular updates this July.
James L. Steele’s novel Huvek is now available as an ebook, and his short story “The Cable” appears in Abandoned Places.
And our associate member Weasel has two poems in the holiday anthology To Hold a Moment Still and also has a story in the latest issue of the literary magazine Earth Is Huge And We Are All On It.

If 'furries' are human-shaped animal characters, what do you call an animal character that's true to real-life anatomy?
Like, the Lion King and Aesop's Fables such as The Tortoise And The Hare?
They're not human-shaped, and they talk...
Is there a name for this type of cartoon character?
I.e, the missing term describes:
an animal character
The anatomy of its real-life counterpart is respected (i.e. not human-shaped)
Can talk.

Introducing, /r/FeralFur
Furs, Non-furs, stalkers of this subreddit, and alien creatures that may be Homing onto our communications via means of Wi-Fi signals coming out of the International space station! May i welcome you to /r/FeralFur! A place for all things Furry, and feral!
What is feral? Well, Wikifur Defines it as:
Non-anthro, full non-anthropomorphic, also known as non-morphic, is a furry term used to describe a fictitious character or fursona that do not share almost any human characteristics traits associated with full furry/anthro beings. Less commonly, it is used to describe just a regular, feral, non-sapient animal.
And this is all our Subreddit is about! Anything feral is welcome here! Whether it's Normal art, Transformation, Inflation, Jeff, Plushes, Anything! The subreddit is currently a work in progress, as i am still setting up the CSS, flairs, and such as...Unofficial CSS Mod. But you're still free to post! In fact, i encourage it!
