Why are you guys wearing a fursuit?
Hi everyone. I'm not a part of the furry fandom, although I really like it, and I was wondering... Why do some of the people here like to wear fursuits? What is so appealing about them? Also, are the "fursuiters" a huge part of the community? Or a small part? I'm not here to make fun of anyone, I'm just a curious redditor who wants to listen to other redditors!
EDIT: Thanks everyone for responding! I think I got it. Cosplay, but you get to be your own 'sona (or you can buy one for- oh my god $300. That's... A lot.). Also, despite some hate I have seen for this community, you are really welcoming. I hope you are all proud of your awesome community!

What's the best thing to do to pass the time while Friends are at Cons?
I'm currently under light duty due to an operation I had less than a 48 hours ago, and I'm super local to FC and my pal's are there and I can't go, sadly. What's the easiest way to burn time?
