Polish newspaper includes Pedobear as Olympics mascot
Posted by GreenReaper on Mon 8 Feb 2010 - 01:24BC tabloid The Province has caught on to the fact that Polish newspaper Gazeta Olsztynska used an image including 4chan meme Pedobear in a story on the Winter Olympics.
The modified image's author, Michael Barrick, says it was also used by a Spanish sports blog.
Pedobear made an appearance at Anthrocon last year, handing out free candy.
Brazilian TV show Fantástico covers local furs, LondonFurs

The piece was discussed (translation) on Portuguese-language news portal Fauna Urbana; apparently much more footage was taken. Although pleased with the general tone, local furs were disappointed in the focus on fursuiting.
Brazil is home to furry camping convention Abando, held near São Paulo since 2008.
San Francisco's CBS 5 covers Further Confusion

Highlights include a bashful Skroy, Scrambles the Cat at the dance competition, and an explanation of why to dress up in fursuits.

This classic adventure game tells the tale of Rif the Fox and his attempt to prove his innocence in the theft of the Orb of Storms, a relic of the ancient Humans. The player guides Rif and his companions/guards Okk the Boar and Eeah the Elk in discovering clues, overcoming challenges, and exploring a land of intelligent, humanoid animals.
The iPhone/iPod Touch release is available from iPhSoft. Versions for other computer platforms can be downloaded from The Wyrmkeep Entertainment Co.
