Flayrah Closing

I'm sorry to announce that as of December 8th, Flayrah will be shutting down.
Over the past few years the site has seen a fall-off in traffic as story submissions and readership have dropped, as people go elsewhere for their Furry related news.
At MFF last weekend, I talked over the situation with Aureth, who first launched the site and still owns the domain, and we agreed that the writing has been on the wall for a while.
So, once the domain expires we will no longer be renewing it, and this site will become unreachable.
To those that have supported and contributed to the site in the past, thank you.

Is the site content being archived anywhere? There's a lot of content in many of the past discussions that would be a treasure trove of historical information on furry fandom.
Hey guys, just heard news about the closing. I'm not exactly sure why flayrah wants to close rather than simply update the software to something newer. There's joomla, drupal, etc. The name is still good. No reason why the site should close or simply just be "bought out" by someone more interested in running it. I really think that it's a bad decision.
