Scientific American has nice article about multiverse theory, and the cosmological evidence which supports it.
Well, if the standard fictional treatment of parallel universe is true, then that means that somewhere out there among the endless worlds every furry fan world ever imagined is a reality.
It's anyone's guess as to whether or not that's a good thing.
Also, has anyone ever heard of a very weird theory I ran across in a book on quantum physics to the effect that some schizophrenics aren't merely hallucinatory, they're experiencing alternate dimensions at random moments? It sounds like nonsense to me, but some of the more scientifically minded among us might know more (and will hopefully share their wisdom).
BE VERY AFRAID!
