wants to come. We will start the party at 7pm and go until about

our appreciation by giving them a good party. We will also be holding
a panel on that Sunday at 4pm on Furry Fandom and we also have a
fan-table Saturday, Sunday and possibly Monday. SiliCon will have a
Night registration will be available on Friday, Saturday & Sunday

2. Registration Pricing Increase.

As of September 1st, the price of pre-registration will be going up to
$45. So act now if you want to save $5.

3. Travel Assistance.

Each year, we have some folks who need a little bit of extra help in
affording the trip to Further Confusion. This is your chance to help
them out. The folks listed on this page are folks who have
specifically requested help from the fandom and are people we feel are
worthy of your consideration. If you would like more info on how to
give money or to put yourself on the list, please see our website at:
http://www.furtherconfusion.org/fc2005/travel_assistance.php. The
following people have asked for assistance already: Holly Ann and 2.

4. Con Book Submissions and Deadline

We are starting to take submissions for our con book. If you would
like to submit something to the con book or if you have questions in
regards to submitting, please send and email to
conbook@furtherconfusion.org. We will be putting all of the con book
guidelines on our website shortly. The deadline for con book
submissions will be December 3rd, 2004.

5. Badge Art Submissions

Further Confusion is currently seeking artwork submissions for the
2005 membership badge inserts. Both color and black & white artwork
will be accepted, and all artwork will be considered on overall 'look
and feel', plus these additional points:
- Size: Art must scale to be printed at 4" x 2".
- Theme: Art must accurately reflect the theme of the con.
- Age appropriateness: The art must be suitable for viewing by
children.

Artists submitting images should be aware that there is no payment for
badge art chosen, and the artist gives Further Confusion the right to
reproduce the image as badge art for FC2005. The artist will be
credited on the insert and in the con program book. The artist retains
all other copyrights and reproduction rights beyond the above.

Submission deadline is October 1st, 2004. All qualifying submissions
will be seriously considered and we will choose 6 designs. All
artists will be notified by November 1st as to whether or not their
submissions have been chosen.

Submission technical specs: We prefer JPG format at best possible
quality compression, at 300 DPI. An 8" by 4" original scanned at
300DPI gives us a good file to work with. Badge art Submissions should
be sent to registration@furtherconfusion.org. In the email specify how
you wish to be credited should your art be chosen.

6. Next FC Public Meeting.

Our next public FC meeting will at noon, Saturday September 11th, 2004
at the Double Tree San Jose. We still need staff positions and time is
running short if you want the special staff rate.
