2016 movie showdown, part 3: Ratchet & Clank vs. Sly Cooper

Yeah, so The Secret Life of Pets kinda, sorta won the last one over Finding Dory, with the exact same percentage as Zootopia over Kung Fu Panda 3 at 78%, but really, 2016 is Zootopia's year, apparently; it gained more votes than all three other movies polled combined. Kung Fu Panda 3 also was one vote shy of beating both the last poll's competitors combined; they only got nine votes, so we are really not getting a statistically sound base with these polls, but, nevertheless, we persist.
So, this week it's two PlayStation game adaptations directed by the same guy, Kevin Munro; please note they don't have firm release dates at this point. I would not be surprised if one or the other is bumped for 2017 or even goes straight to video; but for right now, these are supposedly 2016 theatrical releases, so we'll treat them as such.

Trailer-wise, I preferred Ratchet & Clank over Sly Cooper - it might be a stylistic thing, but the former looked more detailed.
Speaking of style, Sly Cooper was one of the first big "cel-shaded" video games (I think it was announced the same E3 as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker); in other words, made to look like traditional "cel" style animation. So, I'm kind of surprised nobody's complaining so much about the style. The sequels might have been different. Being pretty much a monogamously Nintendo gamer (and straying Microsoft during my infidelities), I don't really have much emotional stake in either movie, or knowledge. The cel-shading, it was furry, and starred a raccoon (with a vixen police officer involved somewhere, because of course I'd know that) are basically all I know about Sly Cooper; I know even less about Ratchet & Clank.
Remember, though, the Sly Cooper trailer is, like, at least a year old, while the Ratchet & Clank movie trailer is much more recent, on one hand, and apparently closer to release, on the other (I see the trailer is saying 2015, and it even finally has a release date, full crew and poster on IMDB, while Sly Cooper has none of that). So, it's probably not a stylistic thing; the Sly Cooper trailer probably is less detailed.
Sly just reminded me of Team Fortress 2, and I'm not a particular fan of that style, too (or its fancy hats).
I would say Ratchet and Clank as the trailer for that got me hyped! Sly Cooper looks good but my money is on the lombax.
