FurryMUCK, still going!

Following the unfortunate passing of Tori "Tugrik" Amundson, the server FurryMUCK was running upon needed to be retired. I am very appreciative and grateful that Tugrik's friends and next-of-kin have been keeping the server up and available to this point.

Finally, we've migrated FurryMUCK to a new server. In doing so, we've made several key improvements, including using the most recent copy of the underlying server code (Fuzzball v7.2) as well as updated SSL libraries. DNS has been updated so people can still use the known hostname to connect:
muck.furrymuck.com, port 8888 for basic access
muck.furrymuck.com, port 8899 for secure access

This has also meant moving the webserver FurryMUCK maintains to have online information. That is also at https://muck.furrymuck.com.
Going forward, status updates about the MUCK will be posted on the new FM-status account.

Thank you, for thirty-five years of furry fandom. I hope to keep it going for more.
