VCL Sweden Mirror to shut down.

Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

The Vixen Controlled Library's Sweden "Master" mirror is going to shut down according to system admin Ch'marr in a post to the VCL Livejournal community. This is due to their Sweden host, Linkoping University, asking them to ether remove erotic material or shut down. Blame politics and public relations issues. The US Mirror will still be up, but slow, until they can ether get expanded bandwith for it or a new mirror. "Can anyone lend a T1?"

Megaplex Room Block

Well, Megaplex is coming soon, and the room block is filling up! The deadline is the 10th of February to get your room now at the Megaplex rate.

The hotel will not extend this, as they expect to sell out the rooms for this time of year. After the 10th, the possibility of getting a room will be slim. Right now, the rooms are going for $99.00 a night + taxes under the Megaplex rate.

Also the 10th is the deadline for pre-reg, so get your registration in now, and save $10.00 online! Go to our website at www.ppmp.info for more info, and see you in March!

A Swiss motorist who thought he struck a dog discovered he had actually hit a man in a dog costume. The victim had earlier attended a stag party and passed out on the road while walking home. He was dragged about 120 feet after being struck but was not seriously injured due to the thick, padded costume.

2005 State of the Website

Your rating: None Average: 4.3 (3 votes)

With the arrival of the New Year also comes another year's anniversary for Flayrah.com. We've been publishing for four straight years now, and in that time have posted 1,992 stories, with 3,820 comments between them. Not bad for a website that's done little direct advertising. I'm pretty happy with what I've been able to do with Flayrah.
