MEET OUR GUESTS OF HONOR: MATT BURT

A couple decades ago, inside some hospital, there was born to the Burt family a big baby. The doctor was quoted as saying, "Woah! Looks like we have a football player here!" The eyes of his parents lit up in joy, as dreams of their little future millionare sport's star danced in their heads. Twenty-six years later, their dreams were beaten, trampled, eaten and then laughed at as if they were a visually-amusing, yet awful and overrated summer movie lineup.

Some people today would still call Matt Burt a big baby, and although he looks a lot like someone who looks big enough (and dumb enough) to be on a defense line, he's really just some creepy, hairy guy who translates his odd imagination onto paper more often than he probably should. He somehow managed to bungle his way through his courses at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and now resides inside a lonely house upon a mountain in Pennsylvania.

Matt can be found in random places, mashing a pencil upon pieces of paper and selling them to random strangers that dare to approach him. At any other given moment, he can be seen at his computer doing the exact same thing, only with a keyboard and mouse (he tried using the pencil and paper on the computer, but since the raging housefire that ensued afterward, he seems to have learned his lesson).

For the past few years, Matt Burt has been muttering the words "me want job" and "getting job in field, good", so it is believed that his recent scribblings are some sort of strange effort to acctually obtain a career in his chosen field of work, CHARACTER DESIGNING. One can only hope that he does acquire such a job, and that very few people get hurt if he does.

Matt will be delighted to meet with all those who attend Furry Weekend Atlanta 2006. He may also attempt to make conversation with those who care to listen to his strange rantings about both his good and bad times. Whatever happens, hopefully everyone will enjoy his presance... or at least tolerate it for the duration of the convention.
