# FIRST HOTEL BLOCK FULL!

That's right! The first full block of rooms at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel is now sold out! But don't despair - we've opened another block of rooms at the Sheraton and reservations are now being taken. Furry Weekend Altanta has negotiated a special Furry Weekend Atlanta rate for the convention of $89.00 per night for single, double, triple and quad occupancy. However, to take advantage of this rate, you must contact Sheraton Reservations at 1-800-325-3535 and request the "Furry Weekend Atlanta" room block and rate OR book online through our website (http://www.furryweekend.com/hotel).

# REGISTRATION ENDING SOON

The deadline for pre-registering for Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007 is almost at hand! Pre-Registration closes on February 3rd, 2007 at 11:59PM. # DEALERS DEN SPACE STILL AVAILABLE

Got something you want to sell? Well, we have space for you to sell it! Registration for the dealer's room for this year's FWA is open. Prices start at $70 for one table and one membership. Included in this price is free power and internet (on a first come, first served basis) and free lunches Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full details, including how to register, can be found at our website (http://www.furryweekend.com/dealers). If you have any questions, feel free to email us at dealersden@furryweekend.com

# MEET OUR 2007 CHARITY: CONSERVATORS' CENTER, INC

Conservators' Center, Inc, or CCI, is a non-profit organization that works to preserve threatened species. One of their main ways of doing this is through a special captive breeding program to help maintain endangered and threatened species. While their breeding program is their main focus, they do accept some animals in urgent and critical need of rescue, primarily taking in animals that most other sanctuaries would not be able to handle. CCI also does community and school presentations to help educate children and adults in ways that they can help to preserve species for generations to come.

Please be sure to stop by and meet CCI's representatives at FWA this year. If you'd like to help support CCI, you can make direct contributions to them while at FWA, as well as by donating items to or buying items at our Charity Auction scheduled for the Saturday afternnon of FWA. Further details on the Charity Auction and when and where you can meet CCI at FWA will be posted in the near future. For more information, visit our website at (http://www.furryweekend.com/charity)

# CHARITY AUCTION

As we have in previous years, Furry Weekend Atlanta will be holding a charity auction on Sunday to support our 2007 charity (see above). If you have anything to donate to the auction, bring it with you to the convention and let our staffers know! We, and our furry friends in North Carolina, appreciate it!

# PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE POSTED

The preliminary FWA 2007 schedule is now available for online viewing! Please remember, this is a preliminary schedule, and is still subject to change between now and the beginning of the con. (http://www.furryweekend.com/schedule)

# PROGRAMMING SPOTLIGHT: SOLVING FURSUIT CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS

Do you have a fursuit or fursuit piece that you've been working on, but have gotten stuck trying to figure out some aspect of the design? Have a finished piece that doesn't fit or move quite right, but can't figure out how to rework it? Bring your problem parts and pieces to this interactive workshop where both our panel of expert builders and the audience will provide insight, ideas, and suggestions to help you finish or perfect your fursuit. Participants should be aware that this is an interactive discusssion forum, and that the panelists are available to provide input, not to actually make physical repairs or changes to your fursuit.

# PROGRAMMING SPOTLIGHT: LIVE MUSIC

We love music and want it to be part of our weekend! On Friday on the Main Stage, join Critical Fail, an all-furry rock band out of Huntsville, Alabama, that will be continuing their annual tradition of FWA shows this year. Then, on Saturday, rock out with Sub-Level 03, the furry band out of Oklahoma that has become a staple of furry conventions everywhere!
